When did you submit DS-160? After you received packet 3.5 letter from consulate or before that? My K-3 has been assigned a case number at NVC but I don't know what to do next
Asking for a friend, this is not what I'm doing. They thought that a K-3 would be much much faster so after they filed an I-130, they filed the I-129F.
The NOA1 for the I-130 was Oct 20 and the NOA1 for the I-129F was Nov 17 and the case was sent to the Texas Service Center.
They haven't received anything from USCIS since getting the NOA1s. She's called a few times. Once a supervisor told her it'd only be a couple more weeks but it's been a couple months since then. All the other phone calls she's made, they keep telling her they can't do anything until they're past her NOA1 date and according to them they're working on things before Nov 17. I checked the website and realised that the for the I-129F it was Nov 10 on May 31 and Dec 21 on May 31. So at the very least the I-130 should have been approved by now.
She's calling USCIS again in the morning. Is there anything thing that she should say/ask? How can she get things moving?
