Does someone know or had a success story with an expedite (solo I-212) because USCIS made an error?
Please, if someone know something about it, please share the experience or the story.
Thank you!
-
Yeah... I have my congressperson involved in my case and now I´m trying to expedite because of their error (once errors are a criteria to expedite)...
Sue USCIS will take the double time to resolve and what I think you want, is finish your case, right?
(Just to let you know the situation... they refused 2x my I-212 and said it was the wrong office and the third time another office accepted and sent to NBC... NBC sent back to the first office that I was trying to fill it and then they accepted... I lost 5 months with it...)
So, take your congress person and AFTER this, you go to the last situation...
Good luck

So, I´ll write what happened and from now I don´t "belong" to this threat anymore...
I was classified by my lawyer willing to file just the I-212.
So we did that together with the I-30.
I had my interview last week and I could receive a I-601 by the CO... But I did not got that.
So, I have a legit, horrible, black whole solo / lone I-212.
The most sad thing is that everyone asked me why they did not granted me a withdrawal application (on my arrival), and they were asking me why I was deported...
So, now, it doesn´t mater to me be in a threat of I-601. I wish I could have it, because at least there is a time frame for that...
I have no time frame... Already waiting 10 months to have my complete family back
That´s it.
All the best for you guys and I hope you all don´t need to wait so long as I´m waiting...

Lone I 212 is to be filed with your local DHS jurisdiction that you were removed or VD from
most of these office are not familiar with the process & will send it to Neb. who will return
it to them , it can take from a few weeks to a yr for processing, once its approved the embassy
will get the info so they can issue the visa...good luck
Yes, that´s what exactly happened to mine and let´s see when they will decide to adjudicate it.
Senator Liaison said that tey asked 30 days (it finished on 06/11) and nothing came up from it.
So, now, this week I´ll make another inquiry...
What a horrible situation.
Thank you.

Hi, there!
I´m here to give some news about my solo I-212, once is like to be in a black whole and no one can get any kind of information about.
I filed the I-212 together with my I-30.
It was a hassle make them accept (NY - JFK office) and it was for 5 months flying arond US until they realized that they were responsible for the adjudication.
During that I tried to procrastinate my NVC journey, but suddenly my country expedited my I-30 and they scheduled my interview without me sending the NVC documents.
I was scared because I wanted to have the I-212 adjudicated before the interview.
But what I realized is that even that you file that before the interview they don´t adjudicate solo I-212 before the interview, BUT... There´s a good thing about it.
I made my interview and the CO asked about the situation (I was removed because they gave me a ban to be "living in US without an immigrant visa", with no other ban) and I could explain what happened. So, after we finished my interview the CO told me that once the I-212 will be adjudicated (she saw on her records that it was pending to be adjudicated and told me that) they will issue my visa, so I think I got a lot of time with it.
And, I have my congress person involved on my case, so I hope , for God´s mercy that they will be faster now, once it was classified exactly with solo I-212 and there was nothing else on my process, nt another ban and without any type of crime or so.
So, all yo guys with solo I-212, file that ASAP!
It worth!
I´ll post here when I get my I-212 adjudicated.

Yeah... After almost a year and a half separated (Since february 2015) I wish I could have more good advices...
But I´ll be honest... The things get worse and worse...
We don´t fight, we don´t argue...
But I´m in a way that I look at him on skype and I start to cry.
We avoid talk about process, but he see me so bad that he start to talk about that, saying that everything will be fine. Sometimes it makes me worse, sometimes it makes me better.
I´m drained. Nothing entertain me anymore. I don´t go out. I just work, eat, sleep. Nothing is fun anymore.
During the process I made 5 online courses. Not fun anymore too.
I wish I really could help. I can´t help even myself anymore.
Now, I have my interview in 2 days (that I´ll be denied because my I-212 is not ready) and I´m "training" myself to don´t start to cry during the interview... I don´t know if they think this is bad or not and I don´t want to make my situation worse.
I have no one around me. No mom, no dad, no brother, no in laws, I just have my 2 kids that I take care of.
I´m sorry folks... It´s the worse thing in the world.

Math.
5,930 ÷ 50 = ?
12,144 ÷ 53 = ?
RWN math answers to both questions, please curtail the Civil Rights of all Muslims. Strip them of their US Citizenship. Stop them from coming to the US if they are not already here.
But number one, rejoice and be ever so glad that you have something to gloat about that can distract from the daily tragedy of gun violence in the US, because this time a Muslim did something spectacular and horrific. Drumpf is going to fix this. ISIS will be sued out of existence by the tort master!
Just this time... Because they ALMOST never do, right?

That all those families who lost their loved ones can be recovered soon
Until when?
How many people has to die to show how bad is the situation with those radicals?
And I can tell you... They are taking care of South America... Getting those non educated, poor and violent people and making them their new military... Those comunist governments from South America are in love with it! They stand for it! Dilma (impeachet President from Brazil) gave them almost U$1.000.000. She simply cancelled the need of a visa to come to Brazil for them... What else? They are making their things in Brazil and no one do anything about. I live every single day scared. I work at the airport and I see what they do. They burn their passports and flush it in to the toiled during their flights and they arrive without any identification and ask for asylum... And they get it! New ID, new everyhting! Clean police report and free to kill all around the world...
I wish I could contribute with all the information that I see and I have.
OMG... The world is lost...
-
I had an awful experience with them...
I was flying back to Brazil and I left JFK, to Detroit and Detroit to São Paulo - Brazil.
They forgot one of my suitcases in Detroit... And to complete the situation, they delivered the forgotten suitcase on the next day at the wrong house!!!
The person accepted the suitcase and I lost everything... (gifts for kids were all o that one...).
NEVER AGAIN!!!
The cheap can be expensive sometimes... Ugh...

Blondedoc,
Thank you! We're so excited and finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It was a solo I-212, and it was filed to the USCIS Miami Field Office. Solo I-212s are very frustrating because there's limited information online. Contacting your congressmen/senator seems to be the best way to move it forward.
I hope your case is resolved soon and keep us updated too!
Wow! I can imagine the happiness!!!
Yes... I have my congress person involved and even like this nothing is working so well... they give us deadlines but they never acomplish that...
Thank you very much!
I wil!!!
-
I´m nothing happy with it...
As a brazilian it will mess my life...
If my I-212 get ready during that, probably the embassy will be much more busy than regularly so I´ll have to wait more
And... After the world cup, my neighborhood was completely damaged, because drunk people were peeing on the streets, breaking stuff and using the palce like there´s no one living there.
Sure that not everyone act like this, there´s a lot of nice people comming and I´m sure of it.
Awwwwwwww and I work at the airport... Ughhhhhhh I´ll have to work double and not receive the double (corruption is flying around everything here...)
-
I want to give an update on our case. We contacted our congresswoman and she helped us move our case forward with the embassy. As it turns out, my husband didn't need the waiver after all and the embassy has acknowledged that he is now eligible for his visa.
He will need to retake his medical exams and send the passport to the embassy.
Contacting our congresswoman was the decisive factor that helped our case move forward.
Was it a solo I-212?
If yes, which POE?
Was it a solo I-212?
If yes, which POE?
Oh, I just saw that yes!!!!
Congratulations!!!!

Yes people did respond at first. And I got more then enough info on the matter I was interested about. But then some other people couldn't stand an idea of someone having different situation then them, or better luck. And they have to impose that to others. It's sad.
I could not hold myself and I need say something...
I´M THE LUCKIEST BECAUSE I HAVE THE BEST HUSBAND! lol
Even separated from my hubby already more than a year, I´m nothing bitter!

Oh, ok!
Good to know!
You see, tais.antonucci?
So, keep tracking it!

Because what I understood, they schedule that for you, not you directly...
My interview was scheduled by them and it was the time that I received the email with all the information!
Take your time that soon they will get in touch with you

Expedite Criteria
USCIS reviews all expedite requests on a case-by-case basis and requests are granted at the discretion of the office leadership. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met.
USCIS may expedite a petition or application if it meets one or more of the following criteria:
Severe financial loss to company or person;
Emergency situation;
Humanitarian reasons;
Nonprofit organization whose request is in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States;
Department of Defense or national interest situation;
USCIS error; or
Compelling interest of USCIS.
For more, see our Policy Manual.
Above from uscis web site
Hummmm interesting...
USCIS refused my I-212 twice and by the end of the story it finished exactly where it was refused twice, after fly around US for almost 6 months... Now, my interview is next week and I still have no answer because of this delay that they made... Just after I involved my Senator that I could make them accept it...
Maybe it´s time to try... I have nothing to loose, I´m not going to receive my visa by the interview at all...
-
Omg... I´m so sorry... But try to look at the positive side... Better before you guys get married than after... Someone who suddenly does this kind of decision don´t worth to have a strong and nice story with someone...
Call your friends, go for a drink, entertain yourself a little bit... It will help you a little
Be fine...
All the best!
-
Good luck to you, blondedoc
thank you Harpa Timsah!!!
For all of us!

More than enough
Well, they can't but it's a lot easier to immigrate some where as US citizen or example Romanian citizen. They also have one of the most powerful passports. Imagine how it is for me as Bosnian citizen when I can count countries I can visit without visa on my fingers.
I don't know but I've seen people going to Denmark to work, don't know on which basis, but they waited maybe a month to get permit. And then look at me, waiting for US visa for half a year almost and my friend, who got IR1 visa, he waited 1,5 years. Germany, Austria, I know a LOT of people that got permanent residency in less than a month.
Things will get better. One just has to fight for himself and be smart about it.
I hope so! For all immigrants! Many times I loose my hope but I'll never give up to be with my beloved hubby
