Hi all! After a 4-month wait, I finally received the biometric reuse letter. Based on some posts here, an interview letter is expected to be received a week after, right? I am being hopeful to finally get this process done! 🙏🏻

Hello, everyone! I finally got my green card on hand this morning after almost 2 weeks since I got the status update of “New Card is Being Produced”.

CSC, biometrics done, no interview, case not transferred.

Case number: WAC1819550XXX

Status changes in the new and old website:

June 28, 2019 - New Card Is Being Produced

July 1, 2019 - Case Was Approved (got the approval letter in the mail 2 days after)

July 8, 2019 - Card Was Mailed To Me

July 9, 2019 - Card Was Picked Up By The USPS (tracking number was also assigned)

July 10, 2019 - Card was delivered to me by the post office

To those who are still waiting, good luck and I will be praying for the fast approval of your cases!

I got a text message today about an update to my case. I checked the case tracker and FINALLY "NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED"

I finally received my biometrics appointment by mail today! It will be on March 13th!

I also just checked the mail and received my physical letter for the biometrics reuse. It arrived faster than I expected!

 How did you check your status? I’ve been checking my status online and will always get an error message.

We probably might get a new NOA too. They have been taking close to two years - so filers from 2016 May are just getting their greencards

Okay, that explains it. Whew. I guess we won't be seeing our new green cards until 2020.

It's because prior the whole ROC process took about a year, now it's taking almost two years.

Having a longer time means there are less callers, less complaints, and a higher chance that there will be less infopass appointments for 1 year stamps.

Wow 2 years?! Holy cow, they are really back logged!

You are just two days after us and got 18 months. 

 

Why the sudden change or is it just me? Does it mean my application will take longer to process?

Thanks! It was extended for 18 months. Did they just changed this? It used to be one year, from what I read from the older forums.

Hi everyone! Can I join this party? It's already June and my green card expires on June 21st and I'm a little anxious coz check wasn't cashed yet nor did I received any NOA. I sent my application (CSC) on May 11 and was received on May 12. Feels like forever!

In my experience, I paid the green card a few days after I arrived. I arrived June 21, paid the green card on June 25th. Every single day I was checking the status of my green card and it was ALWAYS invalid, not until July 26th when a status FINALLY appeared as "Card was mailed to me". I felt a huge relief after that. Haha! On July 29th (3 days after the status change), I recieved my green card in the mail. So I guess you won't really know until the actual card is on its way to you. I know, it sucks. Lol! Here's a sample of my status change after 30 days of being invalid.

Hi Mrs. Brown. Sorry to hear that news ☹️ It's been a while since i posted here but i've been keeping track of everyone's updates. I've read a lot of cases like yours from my home country. Their CEAC status changed from administrative processing to REFUSED even though they submitted all the additional documents required by the embassy. Mostly, it has got to do with the problems in medical (especially those that underwent sputum test in the Philippines), or a system glitch, but after a few weeks, their status changed to READY then visa was issued. But it's case to case basis so we won't really know for sure. Have you tried calling the embassy on any details why your status is REFUSED? Pls don't lose hope. I pray everything goes well for you and for all people here waiting for their visas.

i also filed I-130 for my husband last december2015. my priority date is december 31. On may 1, 2016 i received a letter of approval from USCIS saying that my petition has been approved and will send the petition to NVC, since then until now i haven't heard anything from them. please give me some advice regarding our case coz your petition went fast im looking forward to finally be with my husband. thank you!

Have you tried calling NVC and ask for your case number and iin? If not, call them ASAP. It's been 4 months since the approval. You should have your case number and iin by now.

Wow, that is expensive. Mine costs Php 11,300 ($250) at St. Lukes Clinic.

It's the only clinic here in our country that is affiliated with the US Embassy, so no other option too.

Well this is weird and very good news! I received our NOA2 in the mail! Case Status has always only said Case Received. The NOA2 notice date is April 18th.

Hello! i got CC on Apr 4, called NVC to confirm it and they said they are going to send my papers to us embassy manila.. but until now the status of my case in ceac site still says "at NVC". is this normal?

It depends on your country and if interview dates are still available for NVC to schedule. Check out Dwheels76 "Case Complete to Interview" spreadsheet on the Case Complete forum. You can search by country and get an idea of how long it took others from the same country to get an interview date after receiving case complete. Hope that helps.

Good news!! I got my 3 N/A's!! Scan date March 4, case complete April 4

quick question. What is scan date and how do you find out the date? I imagine its the date NVC receives AOS and IV packages and enters them in system but how do you find out about scan date. Call or email?

I called nvc a week after we sent our aos and iv packages. I asked when my scan date was and they quickly responded. A few days after i gave them a call, my husband and i received an email from NVC about our scan date.

Mine is 9th of march, I called on friday and she told me to wait another three weeks or so before i have my CC. So we'll see ! Still hoping to get it real soon though.

The normal waiting time for CC is 30-45 days... But let's be positive! Hopefully we'll receive good news this week!
