  1. Normal, I can see the same things.

I can see cases received, rejected (incorrect fee, not signed, wrong form), approved. You can enter WAC earlier than yours to see more and edit count. :)

    Pretty cool actually :)

It is cool, yet it makes me a little mad, there are cases that were received later than mine and they have already been approved. I just have to be a little patient and this could be the week since the estimate from VJ says so :)

Good Luck to you as well.

  2. It appears to be just luck! I've seen quite a few late July filers (even some who received their NOA1 in August) who have already been approved. It seems that we all applied at just the right time.

As a side note, is there any status between "received" and "approved" that will show on the app? Like a "processing" status so you know that they're working on yours?

No nothing like that, its either approved, rejected, case received, case rejected due to insufficient funds.

  3. Hello everyone,

I downloaded the USCIS app on my iPhone when I started my K-1 journey, it has become my number 1 source of info on the go regarding my case. Like every morning I checked the app this morning as well to check the status of my case. I found out that the app has this search feature where you can put your receipt number and it can search for all ohter applications that were received and it will show the status of the other applications. I saw that my case was received and that is the current status. Also i saw that cases that have been received later in the order have been already approved. Is this normal? Is it just luck?

Also are there any August or end of July filers that have already received their NOA2 either by email or mail?

  4. Thanks. My fear is that USCIS has not sent it, which would be a USCIS problem presumably, not a NVC problem (NVC can't know what they don't have).

I would give a call to NVC just to make sure, try to call them at 7 am Eastern Time, you might have to hold for a long time on the phone but you will eventually get someone. Call them and ask them about your application. You need your USCIS case number. Hope this helps :)

  5. Hi Everyone,

We got our NOA2 on July 27th, 2015, and there has been no update from USCIS since. Is this normal? Will USCIS update the status once they've sent it to NVC? Who should we call - USCIS or NVC - to figure out what's going on?

    Thanks

Once USCIS approves your application they are done with it and send it to the NVC. You should call the NVC and ask them for a case number which the NVC assigns to your application before it sends it to the appropriate consulate office.

  6. oh really 35 days?? Man i thought it was you call in 2 weeks after NOA2 hardcopy.

It's 2 weeks but they give you the standard answer when you call them which is 35 days. NVC is hard to reach by phone (long wait to actually talk to a human) and their answers (depending on the person you talk to) are ambiguous.

I, myself am waiting on NOA2 hopefully I get lucky anf get it today or within the next week :)

CSC has been fast at approving lately which is a good thing!

  7. Good luck!! :joy:

    Thanks :)

    Hello!!!

We have everything done to send in August, but we post the dates to 08/15, so we suppose to wait until saturday to send. :sleepy:

I wanna know if they are still sending all the new case to CSC.

Someone that alread send this month have any news about that?

As far as I know and in regards to my case all cases are being sent to CSC at the moment and according to some CSC is approving applications like crazy.

    Good Luck :)

  8. I had the same feelings before :) nervous and excited everyday, im always checking vj for every update of our fellow july filers,so just to help you out i wanted to give you all the things ive encountered lately. Some other couples got 15 -20 days approval of their noa2. :)

I hear you, I am always checking here and looking at timelines. I heard that this one couple was done with the whole process in 3 months. I hope you get an answer quickly as well. All the best and keep us informed.
