The good that can come in the waiting is that if you applied for a CR-1 conditional and the process extends past you being married two years than you automatically move up to the ten year green card. Somehow that makes the delay worth it!
I applied in September , 2013 and had my interview and was approved September, 2015. I received my stamped passport a week and a half later and crossed at a P.O.A. in October.
Keep hanging on, calling the NVC....

Mine said what yours did and the 24 hours later it changed to the second posted one,

I am a Canadian and my husband is the USC. We filed for a CR-1 on September 201, 2013. My interview was last month and I received my passport back September 30. 2015!! I just crossed at a P.O.E. successfully last night into the U.S. with my package from the consulate. This two year process is finally done and my visa was changed to a IR-1 due to taking so long
You will find this site invaluable throughout the whole process.

Just an update. Received green card on Monday, 5 October. Entered the US on 10 September 2015 paid the IV fee on 10 August 2015. So after entry it took approximately 3 weeks letter was dated 2 October.
Hopefully this helps others that like myself were not able to track its production.
Thank you for that
Congratulations!!! Did you receive your SSN as well?

This must only be in the UK because at a Canadian consulate last week I had to show BOTH my husband's certified divorce decree and my own.

I am pleased to say that I was approved at my interview in Montreal last Monday (September 30th) and received my passport from Loomis on Wednesday, September 30th for my IR-1. It has been a long two year process but I only found this invaluable site in July, 2015.
I firmly believe I went to my interview as prepared as I was due to everything I read and was told here. There were two things I had not thought of but it was brought to my attention here.
Kudos to whoever started this site and to the many seasoned people who maintain it. I plan on staying here and sharing the little information I am able to as well.
Thanks again!!

I had originally filed for a CR-1 in September 2013 but because the process took over two years so they automatically bumped us up to the 10 year IR-1 at my interview since we were married in August 2013. I live in Ottawa, Ontario so the Montreal consulate was 2 1/2 hours from me.

I had my interview in Montreal on Monday, September 28th and I picked up my stamped passport at a Loomis location on Wednesday,September 30th.

I called GM Canada and within three days they emailed me a compliance letter for free to bring to the border. I am crossing this Friday, October 9th, so I can you let you know how it goes....
-
I still printed out that page, as well as the Applicant Summary, and I'll bring both to the interview. It seems like other people had their "Reference ID" also listed in the top section by their name....just a bit anxious I guess that it doesn't show up for me.
It didn't show up on one either.

When it comes to Montreal we really can't predict much other then they can be as slow as molasses in January!
So very sorry...there really is no rhyme or reason with the Montreal consulate. Why is it that some people receive their passports back in 2 days and others wait three months...it is not personal...I would email the consulate every few days to be on the safe side.

I had my interview last week and you just show that confirmation page...there is no reference number
-
Exactly,,,print out that confirmation sheet and show them that page.

Dear guys if this thread will close where I will go to have discussion?
Stay in the Canadian section (if that is where you are going for your interview) and just look for the "October Interview" forum. This particular one was opened for those of us who had a September interview at a Canadian consulate.

I received an email from Loomis last evening at 9pm and another one from the consulate at 10pm with all the tracking information about my visa. I should receive it in the next two days.
I just received another email from Loomis and the consulate in the last half hour and my visa is ready to be picked up right now. I will go after work tonight and go pick it up. This took less than 48 hours from when my interview was complete. Considering my priority date is September, 2013 I was so glad this part when quickly....everything else was ridiculously long!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my interview at the consulate a few days ago and the 1040A was sufficient.

PS: If you are still living together than I don't know how you would do that as I believe there are only three options. But you are definitely not single....
-
You should amend it before your interview. My husband (USC) filed single and then three months later he went to H & R Block and had it changed to married living separately. Married is married and you don't want to give the consulate any reason to question you and why you "lied" and said single. It is a 10 minute switch and completely worth it in the whole scheme of things. I would change it NOW...we did
BTW: we got the advice to do so from this site!

My husband (USC) moved twice in our two year experience with this whole process. It did not affect anything and you are required to notify them within 30 days if there is a change of address anyway.

You can probably just get what you need from Customs in North Carolina.
But, just a word of caution..... a new vehicle must be fully paid off before they will let you import it.
Huh? What do you mean my car must be fully paid off?

Ours still says Ready on CEAC.
no worries...I have been reading up a lot on all the various threads and there is no rhyme or reason or predictable pattern...just keep checking and it will change

you can always send an email to the consulate if there is no change by tomorrow. There are usually good to respond within three days. I actually emailed them this morning to get a time frame and then it got changed to "issued" ,,,may be it was a fluke it changed two hours after I emailed them...who knows with them ????
Hopeless. Crying hard.
