So I paid my 120 dollar AOS fee and it cleared as PAID. Now I am trying to pay the IV fee but I am being redirected to the receipt for the 120 fee. I can not yet pay the 325 dollar IV fee. How long will it take for me to be able to pay it? I am so confused. Do I send the whole packet together until after I pay or can I send before? Also I have two barcodes one for the full cover sheet and one barcode for the form 864. How do I arrange all of this paperwork!
please help!
2 or 3 days, just keep checking it!! If they haven't send an email with a list of stuff to send they will, not everyone get the same check list or the same order to put the papers

Just remember you might need multiple police reports not just that one.
Exactly you probably need one from her home country and one from Spain,

Hey guys,
What does it mean by " Have lived in your country of current residence (if different from nationality) for more than 6 months., you will need a police certificate from your country of current residence ". My wife is currently staying Spain for study purpose and she will be there for little more than 6 months. Does this option apply for her?. Any suggestions
It will apply if at the time you collect all the information she has been there for more than 6 month, then she needs a police report from Spain!!

I AM PETITIONING MY MOTHER - ON SECTION 3 OF THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT IS ASKS FOR PETITIONERS CIVIL DOCUMENTS. IS MY US NATURALIZATION CERTIFCATE, MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE ND COPY OF PASSPORT ENOUGH ? tHANKS.
In your case I think is enough, your naturalization so they can see you are citizen, your birth certificate so they can see your mother is your mother, and copy of the passport won't hurt (in my opinion)

I received the following request from NVC which I don't really understand. They are asking for my W-2 but I am pretty sure that I have already submitted my W-2 along with I-864 form. Does anybody know what they are actually asking here?
NVC request: "You must submit the following financial evidence: A copy of every W-2 form that relates to your 2016 tax return."
Thanks,
It is pretty clear they are asking for your 2016 w2, sometime they misplace documents, if Inwas you I will put it on the mail today,

Currently I'm at NVC stage and about to send my supporting documents.....Okay I didn't work 2014, 2015 and the first 6 months of 2016. I have my tax document for 2016 tax year and I have a joint sponsor too. So my question, do I have to write a letter stating why I didn't work for those years? Or it's okay since I have a joint sponsor attached with mine also? Lastly, I filled in the I-864 on the computer so most of the questions that didn't apply to me, I left it blank. Will this be a problem or it's fine?
I don't think they care why you didn't work, if you have an sponsor they probably be ok knowing that somebody is responsable for her financials!!

Yeah calling is the only way!!

Employer letter is a must, if you don't send it, you may get a checklist

Don't know exactly but I am sure they are already in September of this year. We got our appointment 2 weeks ago and it is for August 21st. That can kind of show you the pace of how quickly these appointments get filled.

Hello Everyone,
My I-130 petition recently got approved June 19th, 2017. My case is transferred to the NVC for processing but I have not heard from them yet. I want to start gathering all my documents before hand....My question is, can I tell the beneficiary to go ahead and get the police clearance?
I did that!! I sent my wife to get her right after her I130 was approved because it takes like a month to get it,
-
Well in my case (Cuba) my wife went to the justice department and request one,

i130 obtaining US citizenship for child of naturalized citizen
in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America

Good Morning,
I am in the same situation, I am about to put a visa application for my son, IN MY PARTICULAR CASE back in 2010 I put a visa for him and his mom but before the visa was approve we got divorced and I cancel her visa process, but his visa was approved and went to the interview. She told that she will not let the boy move with me, ( now he is 16 and need papa). I never get a notification of the visa cancellation or anything as far as I can remember, few years after that he got a tourist visa and he has been coming for vacation every year.
I am going to put all the documentation and the I-130 together and apply for a new visa, but I don't know if I can do anything with the old one.
Thank you for your help,
Yoel R.
