My Interview was Monday the 26th and changed to AP on Thursday and then issued Friday. My guess for you is AP on Wed.

We are approved! So excited and now the wait for the Visa!

I tried calling NVC for interview date and was told that only embassy can tell me the interview date. From previous experience I suspect this means it's just not been assigned yet. I am hoping once it is assigned NVC will be able to see it and tell me.

My better half heard today that you can call the embassy to see if there are cancellations for interviews. Has anyone heard this or done this?

Thanks for everyone's reply! He went today and all went well. They mentioned he didn't have his letter but he was not turned away. Now we wait again!

People have been without a letter and were not sent away.

The LND number comes from the embassy to the beneficiary in the instruction letter. It also comes to the petitioner in a letter from NVC saying they have forwarded your file to the embassy. NVC is slow to send those letters out.

Thank you. He has his medical scheduled for 9-9. I would bet we will not have a letter or an email. We got the number via phone call to NVC on 8-28.

I have read that you can schedule your medical with Knightsbridge if you have your LND number. My fiancé called and has an appointment and he was told he would need the LND number from an emai or letter. Two questions...what happens if he goes to the medical with LND number we got over the phone? And second, where does the email or letter come from, the embassy? Thanks

Got the email notification...we are approved. 35 days from NOA1.

Crossing my fingers that my NOA2 will be today (or at least this week). My timeline estimated July 28-30. At this point I'd even prefer an RFE so at least I knew they were working on it.

My fingers and toes are crossed for you, me and everyone else that is waiting to hear. This wait is unbearable! But I do feel so lucky I found this website. Before I was on here I thought I was gonna be waiting for 5 months to get through this bit. I hope this week is filled with lovely happy approvals!

I check on uscis case status is that where the person I quoted checked the numbers before and after their number?

Looks like you can put in a number and then pick a quantity...like 50 and it will show their status. I am addicted to it now.

This is the best thread on VJ. Y'all sound just like my sweet man. I will insist he read this. Everything you have said you miss or will miss he has told me he is sad to give up. Brown sauce, Jaffa cakes, good beer/pub, good tea(PJ Tips?), the English language(lol), football, and walnut whips! (I added some things he has mentioned.) I am worried he will be terribly homesick. It's helpful to read about people adjusting. We joke that when he lives here and we argue he gets to pull the he moved to another country card! I am following this thread with a smile on my face.

Also I check the case status option on the website because I tried to create and account and it says I already have one but when I reset the password it says my account is locked so is the case status option still reliable for those that are checking for NOA2? Thank you guys!!
