And About status thing, it says AP, and I think we get only UPDTAES, status will change once its all done,(from AP to ISSUED) correct me if I am missing something in between

i heard that embassy is suppose to let applicant know about the decision of case within 60 days of u being in AP?

Is that right ,its gonna b 2 months for me soon since im in AP

Hey me too had same situation like you..... Put In AP,and took all dcouments..... All you can do now is to look for status updates

how long u been in AP NOW? how many times u seen status updates

i am still in my 2nd month of AP.

am i allowed to involve congressman/senator at this very point.( is congressman/senator they both -same thing or different person?)

so u contacted him/and he sent u form via email..also how long it takes to get response from big man/embassy ?is there any time frame.

(and if u got reply was it a standard reply u get through embassy like u was in AP -EMAILS OR THEY ACTUALLY TELL U the actual progress of your case and time frame )

i am just wandring it might takes for ever ..sigh

i know its a dumb question to ask but i was just wandering that if some one is in AP and the embassy has his /her all the required documents (and they don't need any further documents) and they have all the police certificate from the countries the applicant lived in .Then why they take so long to put in AP ,also what kinda background they look into when they have the original police certificates ? and all the docs

At my interview CO told to wait for one month until i hear from them and i have been given 221g white slip with no additional docs asked either from me or from my fiance part.

Now i am on AP after my interview and after one month of AP ,i got email from emassy which i believe is the standard email they sent to every one stating u have to wait ,etc...contact if dont hear from them after six months......

My question is my NOA-2 is expiring on 2nd DEC and i am still on AP after my interview, and i dont think im gonna hear from them any soon abt my decision(as they say u have to wait for 60 days ) ,as it gonna b exactly 60 days since i will be on AP and also when my NOA-2 is expiring.NOW what shall i do ?and do i have to inform embassy to extend my NOA2 date? if yes how can i do that ..pls direct me

hi there , i want u to throw some light pls ,my ap is just over 1 month and i got this e-mail ,while my CO told me at the end of interview to contact them after 1 month and now i recieved this email just few days over month and it states that like last paragraph 6 months, this is so tense,pls tell me did u got that email too before your status hangeg to ready or issued,or that e-mail has other format ...u think ap will b for longer ?even CO says month.

TAKE HIM TO A JUNGLE AND LEAVE HIM THERE FOR 1 MONTH ,HE WILL B FINE AFTERWARDS...REALLY I M SORRY ABOUT YOUR SITUATION BUT SERIOUSLY people visit places every day e from different parts of the world and settle down ,like u can see what ever the visa people apply ,like spouse, fiance ,business ,students and so on people came to experience place and learn culture ,but in your case its u putting effort to save a relationship like he is new born baby ...we all learn from experiences and make choices some times good sometimes bad ,but we learn ....u just relax and this is not the end of the world ,try to make him understand ,but if he still have the attitude and making u spending lots of money more than u think like u said food cars etc ,he cant buy such things here in cuba and once he is in states he is not accepting thing moreover not respecting your hard work to save relationship...long story short ...i truely believe if u really love someone u are happy without big bungalows,rollroyce bmw,etc...as in love u compromise and learn abt each other ,this is the fountain of happy life ...

My fiance finally got a call (about 40 minutes ago) to collect her passport. Finally it's over. She should be travelling within the next couple of days. I wish all the best to all the ones waiting to be with their loved ones. Stay positive, have faith in Allah and InshaAllah things will turn out for the better.

u siad u been called for finger prints and oath but i guess these things they took at interview day,was u called later for that?
