    Hello guys

    i have quick question, do I have to fill new I-485 form for application or

    do I have to bring the old I 485 which I submitted with my application on first place ( and that form is expired date on 7/31/217)

     

    i have my interview in couple weeks , pls answer quick if u can as I'm arranging docs right now ...

     

    also the g325a form and other related needed to be filled again or just make a copy I already submitted ???

    I have already applied for my I-765 work employment card in June but never got it , just got notice that they have. Received my work employment application letter , in this case I am automatically extended for 180 days extension and I don't need to worry any more and can work ??

     

    please people who recently gone through this medical exam or interview after over year wait of k-1 ,AOS.... kindly give me feed back of medical exam from your experience

    Hello VJ family !

    i have couple question concerning my AOS interview!

    1. I am working full time and my work permit gonna expire on sep 6, and my interview is later on 23rd sep !

    my question is am I legally be able to work as my work permit expire on sep 6, I do have appointment letter ...what's the legal status of me working or not ??

    2. I have my medical done in Pakistan in 2015 and I submitted my medical examination at interview of my k-1 , but now in the AOS interview appointment letter it says of medical examination, do I have to re-do my medical or I assume they have it with them ?? What's the good way to do for me !

     

    also if some one reply with the medical form link , I can't find 

     

    Please guide me and shed light

    my question is how long did u wait for your GC after u applied for AOS ? How many times u guys extended WORK PERMIT ,and did u get 2 years CONDITIONAL GC ?? or 10 yrs PERMANENT  GC??IM IN the same shoe so wanted to know how long I have to wait for my interview, I applied my AOS June last yr

    Yeah I  came here on a K1 visa, got married, and now filed for AOS , I have a EAD and AP ,  No interview as of yet and I got RFIE , but I send paperwork back in aug2016 , applied aos in June 2016 

     

    status say " your rfie was received in august .... "

     

    so so how can I make info pass appointment? What's the process ...

    how long it take to make such appointments 

     

    will they b able to extend my EAD / Ap?

    and can some one tell if don't work , where I have to send my application! I mean which address ?

    Hi vj people , 

    hope u are all good , I have s quick but urgent question!

    i am here in USA on pending AOS - application, and my work permit gonna expire in 3 months , I think as I'm from Pakistan my background check will take for ever....and I don't think I'm having my interview any soon !!

    my question to every one , especially to those  one who been through all this process,can u please tell 

     

    - 1- how much is the fee for filing -renewal of I-767 ( work permit) & travel document

     

    2- Do I have to file for travel documents form again ?

     

    3- what supporting  documents needs to be attached with both of those forms ( work permit & travel ), I have a full time job now.

    4- where to send the application, my Field office is in Missouri, I am so confused that where I have to send my application ( address!)

     

    5- Is it possible if I go to my local office for info - pass appointments ( don't know how it works ..can someone explain pls) will it be helpful and even if I go to my local office , do I still need to send my application 

     

    6- Do I need I-94 form ( I forget where I print it last time from , which website portal ? Can some one pls float the link in my way )

     

    any help would be appreciated, I can't afford lawyer !!

    Renewing I-765

    We are required to apply again for the I-765.  Do we just do the application again like before?  We've been waiting a year now for our AOS but we don't want the work permit to expire.  The expiration is in September.  Do we have to do a new biometrics, also?  Any advice will help.  Thanks

    Hi vj family !

    I want to share my experience that happen a day before yesterday !

    I am adjusting my status (AOS) from K-1 fiancé visa !

    I have applied for AOS application in June this year , later I got RIFE regarding income , which I think the office lost document at first or something as my USC Wife make well over 40,000 a year ,so we sent the rfie in and our status has been stuck "YOUR RESPONSE TO RFIE WAS RECEIVED " and it was it 18 Aug . There is no change of status since than , we have make a service request but we have not got any response by any means !

    Now I called tier 2 and they says your local office working back on Oct 2015 cases, than I was like , ok , may be we get interview next year some where in sep , oct .. Which was fine to me ,as obviously we can't do nothing at this point!

    In the mean time I got my work and travel document last month as well, and I have started working too!

    Couple day back the guy came knock the door and my wife open the door and ask who is this and he replied he's fbi, my wife says ok and than he said he wanted to meet me, my wife says I am at work and gonna finish at 6 pm, and he says can he see me in evening , wife says sure !

    So once I finish work my wife pick me up and told about that , and once we got home the guy was already waiting for us ,and he ask if I have time to answer some questions, I welcomed him,and he came in house asking about my identification document , I showed him my work permit ,social security and driving licencs and passport , he ask me about where I lived before and when I moved to USA , if I know of anyone from Afghanistan or anyone who have links with terrors etc, I answered no,I never been to Afghanistan and he asked about my religion and if I practice it, I'm Muslim and from Pakistan , i answered I don't know anyone he asking me about different people name , if I know them !

    He than says this is something they ask most of the people coming to USA , but honestly I felt like I been harrased and now I felt scared even to get my mail from mail box,

    Ian a very humble guy and has a very clean background , but I felt harrased by fbi asking me such questions which I have nothing to do about , may b it's his job but asking me if I'm Muslim and practicing us something very personal , I respect everyone , just wanted to share if anyone has such experience too! My wife don't felt it good either as we been through a long background check already before I got to USA , Does anyone know if this has any effect on our pending AOS , will it delay or expedite the process!!

    The SSn office told me I had to come back when I got my EAD so yes you have to go back I guess.

    If you are new then you have no credit score. You have to built up your credit.

    Thanks so do I have to go to change my ss card, even tho my I-485 is pending ??!

    Your credit score does not exist as of yet.

    Some big banks (namely Capital One) offer things like Road to Credit, where you get a credit card with a very small credit limit ($150-$200) which you also have put down deposit for. That's the best way to build up your credit score.

    How can I get capital one credit card ?

    Hi vj family !!

    I get my combo EAD/AP , do I have to go to renew my SOCIAL SECURITY CARD now( which says on my current card that "valid for work only with DHS authorization ???

    My I-485 is still pending ?? Do I have to go to SS office to renew my card??

    Also since I'm new to the country? May I please know if my credit score is good here?? As I wanted to buy car on installment and I need good credit score !

    How they can calculate for people like me
