Then we were going through my application - all questions I had to answer verbally. I`m glad we did that because one of the questions on the N400 I answered incorrectly - Part 12 Quest 19. It appears that Conceal carry license that I have falls under that category. So she corrected it.
Also she asked me to sign a form that I wasn`t aware that I have to register for selective service.
I had a couple driving tickets from two and half years ago and because of that my n400 wasn`t approved right away and will be reviewed within 120 days.
I also brought quite a few support letters from various people "for counter weight" my tickets. She said that they prefer them notarized but took them and put in the file.
She also said if my interview was in April then these tickets I had would be out of 3 year review period..... Fingers crossed.

So Finally, good news. After waiting for about 140 days after the interview, I called USCIS office and asked about my case. Regular respond : we will make an inquiry.
On Sunday I received multiple emails/texts stating that my case was approved and they put me in line for Oath ceremony.... I checked online, the copy of the letter is not available yet in the Document tab.... But its says Approx Waiting time 4 months...... Not sure if this is actual wait time for my case, I guess I`ll have to wait until I get the letter with date and place....

Hey guys! I was in the same boat and had N-400 interview in February
Basically I took all paperwork with me that I filed for both I751 and N400 just in case. and my wife.
When officer came out she said its great that you brought your spouse because we going to do both interviews today.

Just speeding tickets. yup I brought them and payments receipts as well. Fines were paid.

I had my interview today, was very easy, simply review the tests online on the USCIS website and you should be fine. They did ask a lot of questions for eligibility etc and then it was done. I passed and was recommended for approval on the spot, BUT then when I went online my status changed to "we placed you in line for your oath" which is GREAT , but then it changed again to "Case Was Submitted For Quality Review Based On An Approval Recommendation"
anyone knows if this is the normal process of status changes online?

Hello all. Not sure if I need to contact USCIS telling that my I-751 (pending) outside normal processing time or not? Filled I-751 on July 31st 2017 (they processing Aug 3 as of today). I do have N-400 interview this week in Milwaukee.....
Will they do both or I need to let them know?
Anyone with similar situation?

I`m trying to find online any official information regarding extending GC extension letter. Anyone can point me into the right direction?

Hello everyone,
I was wondering when I should make an appointment to extend green card? Currently - extension letter expires at the end of October (3 years) . I checked available appointments at the local office and there is nothing for the next 2 weeks. Should I schedule one once I see availability? What is the time window I should make an appointment to extend before GC expires ?
I mailed N-400 to Chicago office. They received it on 8/8/18. Didnt hear anything back from them Hopefully this week I get 797 or see personal check cashed.

Hello!
I was just wondering if we have to attach a simple letter with N-400 application requesting I-751 interview and N-400 interview at the same time?
My I-751 is still pending (12+ month) Got all paperwork ready for N-400, sending it to Chicago tomorrow. As far as I know my I-751 was transferred to local office in Milwaukee this February.
Any advises ? Did anyone do that?

Hopefully N-400 accelerate the process. Will see.

Очень глупая история случилась 12 лет назад.... как и все подростки приехавшие из россии.... русские ищут приключения на свою ж....
Вообщем с тогдашними друзьями американцами решили покурить. Покурили.... оказалось слишком много...
Я думая что это все. Конец ... позвонил 911 . Приехал полицейский, медики. Отвезли в госпиталь, поставили капельницу. Полицейский выписал citation. Через три часа я был дома.
Заплатил штраф через неделю не доводя дело до суда.
Неделю назад взял выписку из того полицейского участка. Там говориться что :
This individual was cited for possession of a controlled substance THC. Citation was paid before court.
Мы пользуемся услугами адвоката которая помогает нам с документами, и в форме она написала ответ на этот вопрос нет.
Когда я спросил ее что наверное нужно ответить на этот вопрос ДА и приложить выписку из участка и обьяснительную она написала что на этот вопрос нужно отвечать нет. Ответ ДА если вы были аррестованы и на вас надели наручники и т.д.
Вообщем я не зная что делать. Просто не хочется чтобы из за этого сделали denied.
