  1. Our I-130 was approved on July 30 at CSC! 22 days from NOA1 :joy:

Make sure to check the egov.uscis.gov website daily! Of course we provided an email address upon submission, but have so far found out all updates from the official website.

Random sidenote: So happy we got placed at CSC not only because it is fast, but it's my hometown and I actually went to preschool inside the same building (one of the strangest looking ones in Orange County-looks like a sand pyramid)! Literally lived 3 minutes from here my whole life and drove past it multiple times a day for the first 18yrs of my life...if only that counted for something! Funny, but I would've been pretty sad had I been routed somewhere I had not seen everyday of my life! :goofy:

Good luck going forth to everyone!

Congratulations!!!!! That makes you guys, the first reported approval for July filers (if I am right).

  2. If any of you had trouble signing up for the "MyUSCIS" account to check on your case status using your receipt number, the site seems to be functioning a little better now. A few of us were able to make it work, who were having trouble for a more than a week.

Of course it's just one more way to not get any news :P but I was able to request email and text message updates (we had only set up notifications for my USC husband with the petition package).

Thank you and it is still up....Finally

  3. Donboudha what's RFE?

RFE is issued when there is more evidence needed. That is one of the more common reasons for delays during the adjudication.

If in the bottom of the page states USCIS Office Adress:

    UCSIS

    TEXAS SERVICE CENTER

Therefore, your application will be processed by the TSC = TEXAS service center.

  4. Hello Guys,

I am new to this forum. My husband filed I-130 for my son.

    7-6-2015 Package sent

    7-8-2015 Package recieved

    7-14-2015 Check got cashed

7-16-2015 Recieved by mail of I-797C, Notice of Action

    My questions are:

    1. What is the next step?

    2. How long is the process to get an approval?

    3. Do we need to file a GC now or wait until we get approved?

Do you know from which service center the application will be processed?

Nonetheless, now you wait. Depending on the service center, you might receive an approval notice or RFE within the next couple of weeks or months.

  5. We just received this afternoon the acceptance email/text from USCIS. Our applications will be processed by the California Service Center. I don't know if I should be happy about CSC since this is apparently, as of today, the fastest one. we hope that we'll hear some very soon. Speedy process for all of us in here.

Thank you and I am sure that the NSC will go as fast as the CSC.

That's great. I hope you get your approval in a few months. We are at Nebraska.....it's a long wait there but we just have to stay positive and wait it out. Good luck to you and all of us in this process.

    Thank you.

  6. Finally, we sent the application to Chicago lockbox. However, it was sent in 7/6/15 and still not delivered by USPS. What was supposed to be delivered within two days, after several calls to USPS administration, the application is finally out for delivery that means our priority date will be some date of next week. We are now on this journey and in this forum, we are together united and looking forward to the finish line. Speedy process to all of you.
