We met around 1993 and knew we had something special even then. After corresponding by mail (internet and email was not popular back then) for about 3 years, we somehow lost contact, but Facebook brought us back together in 2013, some 17 years later. It was like we never missed a beat. In 2014, I took 7 trips to Jamaica and he took 2 trips here to Dallas and we knew we couldn't be apart from each other. This past May, he came back here to Dallas for my college graduation and proposed to me in front of my family and friends. Now we're trying to navigate through the immigration process so we can start our life together. But first, we're planning the wedding of our dreams in his beautiful Jamaica. I am so excited!!
