  1. does anyone have the email for MSC? or who do i call for my EAD card i had an email for undeliverable letter which is not real cos i havent changed my address since i got to usa...........

i posted this and i am concern now that i get problems for this issue i read about some deniels for not showing up for interview when they never got the letter so anyway

does anyone have the email to inquire about my EAD??

i applied with my AOS together at chicago lockbox i dont know where it is now but my case starts with msc, i had biometrics is providence my dc is boston

    thanks in advance

Maybe you should go for an infopass appointment if it's not too far away from you, and explain them what happened and your worries. They might help.

Or you can contact your congressman and ask for help, they can make an inquiry(?) for your case and find out what was in that undeliverable letter, this way you won't miss on any important information that might have been in that letter. From my own experience I know congressmen can be quite helpful with finding out information about your case.

  2. it looks like they might be doing it based on when your Biometrics where taken.

Mine where on March 15th - A week after yours.

However my EAD was "touched' yesterday ! - For what that's worth ....

Mine was touched on 22nd and approved on 26th, and there was somebody else mentioning being touched and then they were approved a few days later. It's definately a good sign.

My husband's biometrics were also on 3/15, but unfortunately his case was not touched yesterday.

RFE might delay things a little bit.

  3. Has anyone ever offered a theory as to why these pieces of mail are returned as undeliverable even if they are valid, longtime addresses? Especially if other USCIS mail is delivered without a problem, but one piece inexplicably goes missing?

Actually, I do have a theory. Last year I received my renewal AP and I was extremely surprised - and impressed -that the Post Office delivered it. The reason? The ink on the address was so badly smeared that the name was illegible, the City and state were illegible, and only part of the street address - including the number, and the zip code were legible if you took the trouble to look closely. It looked like something was placed on top of the ink while it was still wet and pulled past as the smear extended across the whole envelope. I tested the ink - it was not water soluable so it means that whatever smeared the ink happened at the source just after the label/envelope had been printed. It originated from Lee's Summit, Missouri and was postmarked Oct 17, 2005.

If they haven't fixed the machinery that prints and stamps envelopes I can well see other envelopes being smeared in such a way as to make the address illegible - and thus undeliverable.

That's really bad, as it causes people get denied for not showing up for interview or biometrics appointments, because they never get their appointments letters. Uscis neglect and carelessness keeps surprising me more and more...

  4. Same thing happened to me, they sent a RFE for medical that I did already within that year. We called uscis info line and they told us we shouldn't worry about it and we should just send the vaccinations. So we sent the vaccinations, and they denied my AOS

You should go for an infopass appointment and ask them for help. There's two things you can do from now, either reapply for AOS all over again, or you can file a motion to reopen the old case. In any case you would have to do the medical, and it takes time to get the results from the blood tests, so it's better to get the medical done (by a civil surgeon from uscis list) as soon as you can. Hopefully if you go for an infopass appointment they will explain your options to you and you can decide what to do next.

  5. This is so very saddening to hear. I wish you all the very best.

    (1) If you want a good, reputable immigration attorney, talk to other people from Phoenix. Anastasia might have one, I'm not sure. Otherwise look at AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) for a lawyer in your area. Talk to a few on the phone and find out who has experience in this situation.

I don't have a lawyer. We looked for them, but they all wanted too much money and insisted we would file I-130... which has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Lawyer is not really needed if you want to refile, that's very simple you just do everything as you did before, except that you would need to add a new medical to the envelope. As for motion to reopen, you might need a lawyer for that if you feel uncomfortable doing it on your own, I did some research and found some people who did it by themselves, and it's not impossible. Marie clo, if you need any info on how to reopen, PM me and I can help you with that.

  6. what an immense waste of time! Dunno about anyone else, but that commercial didn't blow my skirt up...

    Damn!

I think I came off wrong a bit...it was cool, don't get me wrong..but if you can do the same thing with CGI, then ####### not? I don't see the added benefit, that's all

Because it's much more interesting to make it in rl! And see that it's all do-able and possible :D

  7. You can apply for work authorization document (EAD) after you're married, usually it takes 60-90 days till you get it approved. So you should be prepared for a few months that you wouldn't be able to work after you come to the US.

The wait for K-1 visa varies, depending on where your fiance lives and what service center it's gonna go through and what embassy will conduct the interview, you can check the processing times here: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp and get some idea how long it takes to get the I-129f approved. Also check the immigration timelines on this website and the guides and FAQs are very helpfull :D
