Ok, I'm reading conflicting data on the use of a personal check or not? How has the latest info? Also, if I was figerprinted for my K-1 visa do I need to pay the $70 for it again?

You need to pay the $70 fee. Don't know about checks because we used a money order. If I remember right the payment for AOS with the biometrics fee was $395, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It's always better to check on the uscis.gov website for fees and forms, so you don't miss any updates and send an outdated form or an incorrect fee by accident.

You can try getting an emergency AP at an infopass appointment, if you can prove that it is an emergency. Leaving without AP can get you into a difficult situation, you might not be able to get back in.

Sometimes they both get done at one appointment, and sometimes people would receive different appointments for EAD/AOS and have to go twice. So since you have 2 appointments you will have to go twice, unless if you bring both letters for your first appointment and they decide there to do both biometrics for EAD/AOS at that one appointment to be done with it.

5 years?? what if you actually need only 3 after getting green card would that be reduced to 2???......

I don't think so. The law refers to all the other immigrants, not the marriage based ones. But no reason to be upset, either way you'll be waiting less than what they will have to wait.

I am kind of freaking out because I am still not clear about what this vaccination supplement is and if I need it. I just had my medical (not even 4 months ago) and our interview is in 2 weeks. Do I need it? I called my Dr. ( he was on the USCIS list of drs) and asked him if he had included this supplement but he was kind of clueless....

If you had your medical done with vaccinations in the US, then your vaccination supplement should have been included in the sealed envelope the doctor gave you, the one that you sent with your AOS application. Then you don't need it again, unless if the uscis interview letter specifically asks for it. If your vaccinations weren't completed in the US and you didn't show proof of vaccines to the civil surgeon in the US, then you need to get that vaccinations supplement from the civil surgeon.

It can take up to one month to receive a NOA, so you have nothing to worry about yet

If you really need to travel you should apply for AP and travel using that. Even if the AOS interview will happen within the timeframe they give, there's still a possibility of waiting for a long security check to be completed, or a gc card can come with an error on it and then it takes time to fix it too, and lots of other things can happen which hopefully won't happen and I don't want to sound negative, but you never know what kind of surprise uscis has in store for you

Congrats! I received mine yesterday, it was such a relief.

Kids are capable of learning languages much better than the adults. I'm from Israel, there's lots of immigrants and there's many biracial babies. They grow up normal knowing few languages, sometimes they get confused a little bit before they start going to kindergarden/school, but afterwards they learn even quicker to communicate and can distinguish between the languages. There's all kinds of games you can play with the kids to help them learn, for example saying a word in one language and the kid should say it in the other. It's a fun experience and can teach you spanish in your case, if you don't know it already, and also I'm sure your kids will appreciate it that you gave them the chance to know more than just english once they grow up.
