Yes, we used translated documents all throughout the immigration process without issue, including, birth certificates and a 7 page divorce decree.  I don't think we've needed them for her job.

All we did was include a document stating:

(Name of person listed in document being translated)
    (Name of document) Translation
I (Translator's Name), certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and Spanish languages, and that the attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached titled "(insert type of document translated)" for (person document belongs to).

    Signature

    (Printed Name of Translator)
    Date
    Address of Translator

If you search these forums for "Document Translation" there is a ton of information.  Unfortunately, there is a ton of conflicting information like, neither petitioner nor beneficiary are allowed to translate documents pertaining to their case or they have to be done by a certified translator.  Here is the exact wording on the USCIS website saying:

All documents submitted in support of an application or petition must include complete translation into English. In addition, there must be a certification from the translator indicating that the translation is complete and accurate and attesting to his or her competence as a translator. See8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) .

My wife and I are fluent in both Spanish and English and all I can tell you is we translated ALL of our own documents, signed the translation certificates in our own names and had ZERO issues or RFEs.

Updated the table.  Hope I didn't miss anyone.  If I did, I apologize.  Let me know and I'll update it.

I was not able to make it on the webinar as it was blocked by work, but here is a summary from another user in the October 2017 thread that was able to make it on.

Sorry to say but... the government doesn't care about yours, or anyone's, agenda or expectations or ideas of right and wrong service and especially the side that handles immigration, and especially with how our current governing figures feel about immigrants; even those who are jumping through all the legal hoops. There are no 'reservations' you can make with uscis that can guarantee you get served before others and especially no guarantee saying you will be served within a certain time. If you have made it to ROC then you should know this already. Investigating and processing hundreds and thousands of peoples lives takes time and not everyone's timeline will be the same because not everyone's situation is the same. You just can't streamline such an intimate process, especially with the volume of people trying to immigrate every year. No one really knows why CSC is falling behind on ROC applications... but I do know that when I was filing my K-1 that if you were in CSC you were the lucky one. Back then if you ended up in VSC your wait for an interview was projected to be almost double the wait compared to a K-1 at CSC. I also remember fellow applicants with similar timelines as mine in the beginning getting interviews before me, and I remember in turn during AOS when I got my 2 year green card before some of those people. It's a situation based sliding scale that none of us are above and no amount of complaining or speaking up can ever expedite a process that requires thoroughness to be completed. Like screaming at a clock because the second hand takes 60 seconds to go around and you wish it would only take 40. Or being angry at red lights and other drivers because you can only go the speed limit and you want your 30 minute commute to take 20 minutes.

Everybody waits and there's nothing you can do about it because at the end of the day this process requires a human being sitting at a desk to research and evaluate your entire life and decide if you or your spouse are deserving of the right to live in America. This isn't like robots approving people systematically as if we're applying for credit cards... it takes time, and it takes time for everyone. You're fighting a losing battle because there's no battle to be fought. USCIS isn't dragging green cards across the ground on strings laughing while they ask us to catch them and then just handing them out to the other people standing around watching us scramble. CSC doesn't want to be behind, the USCIS isn't dragging out this process to keep us guessing or make our lives miserable... it's just that waiting is part of the process. As we all know, there are thousands of people waiting in line beside you hoping for the exact same thing and being just as frustrated about it. However, just like a cancelled flight, people screaming and causing a scene outside the terminal isn't going to get a replacement plane onto the runway any faster. Your timeline isn't going to go any faster just because you want it to or because you think it should. If that were the case... we would all be citizens as soon as we fell in love with our partners.

There is no fast lane for this process. This is it. You choose whether you want to be the person screaming at the airport staff or the person sitting down waiting for their replacement flight. Either way... you're waiting for that plane to come. Just one wait is more enjoyable.

Some of you may remember 14,400 baud rate dial up Internet. It was way back in the early 90's, but it was the fastest thing going.
By comparison, the 70 Mbs internet speed that I currently enjoy is almost 5,000 faster, and allows me to stream movies. Things are very quick these days, thanks to modern technology, digitalization, etc. USCIS seems to be stuck back in the 14k Baud rate, without reason. Also remember, it is the squeaky wheel that gets greased. USCIS receives in total over 2.2 million petitions of different types annually. So long as those of us who are required to pass through their gauntlet and waiting game sit by quietly, there is No Incentive for them to streamline their system. Further, if I go to a restaurant (that requires me to pay for my meal in advance), and I watch for hours as others come, pay, are served, eat their meal, and go . . . while I sit at my empty table, I am going to get a bit grumpy. If after inquiring of the waiter, 'What's taking so long?', he informs me that perhaps my meal will arrive next week; Then I am going to be a bit MORE than just grumpy.
While I realize that 'Time Marches On', and sunrise follows sunset, etc... And I could just go about my daily life and be 'surprised' when as if by magic, our petition is approved and all is well... I am unable to synchromesh that quietly into the gears of my heart and mind. All of my working life has had schedules, fluxuating workloads, deadlines, sudden demands for overtime, innovation, and pulling the occasional rabbit out of my hat to get the job done.
Excuses are like arm-pits . . . everybody has a couple and they usually stink. I am not geared towards 'hurry up and wait'. It is inexcusable, and unacceptable. The status-quo needs to be updated... This is ridiculous.

Hmm, I just tried on my phone and my wife's is recognized using chrome on my  phone.  Guess I never thought about the fact that I've always used my work computer and on my phone I've always used the app on my phone.  I just tried making an account online using my work computer and it wouldn't let me log in because the site couldn't validate my IP address.  I could sign in just fine on my phone which, at the time, was not connected to our work network.  So it looks like in certain circumstances no results will show if the IP address can't be validated.  Thanks mrandmrsBRS, I would have never made that connection without your post.

Here's what I did.  Find the last posted table, which before this post was by L & B on 2/21/18 at 6:47 (at least that's the time it shows me).  Underneath the chart there is a "Quote" link.  Click that link and it will appear in your reply box below.  It will say somthing like "1 hour ago, L & B said:" and then it will show his post with the table.  You want to hold down the "CTRL" key and right click the "1hour ago...." line and select "Remove Quote and Keep Contents.  You can then delete his added comments above the table and add your own comments.  Then add the updated information in the table.  Unfortunately, I showed up in this thread late and could not figure out how to add a new line so that my information would be in the right order, so my information is in the last row of the California Service Center applicants and not below the 1/12/2018 applicants since I filed on 1/13/2018 (not sure if anyone can fix that).  Hope that helped.
