Just got news that my EAD has been ordered! I assume later today I will get news for AP as well, but even if I don't - it is still great news to wake up to! The app and website were updated, but I haven't received any emails or texts - regardless I'm still happy!
Hope everyone who is still waiting on news receives some this week too!
Congratulations! Our timelines are very similar...hopefully I hear something by the end of the week!

yeah i havent gotten around on updating the timeline yet but our filing date is almost identical
.
I had it sent it out On the 25th and received on 30th, i believe i was in for biometrics on the 23rd of july and waiting on the EAD approval notice after responding to a RFE. Good luck to us both!!
Oh ok, thank you! And yes, lots of luck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone that got approved for EAD/AP! Looks like i got a full month to wait by looking at others timeline
Hey! My local office is also the Buffalo, NY one. I was wondering if you could tell me when you filed and such
Or maybe update your timeline thing on here! I've been looking for someone that I could compare timelines too! Thank you!

Uhh it gets mailed to the lawyers office?? I thought we would physically get it in the mail
It all depends how the lawyer filled out your form. With my lawyer, he asked me if I wanted to receive the EAD/green card in the mail directly, and that's what I chose.

Case status changed from 'Fingerprint fee received' to 'Testing and interview'.I mailed in my AOS package July 8th and my interview has been scheduled for September 23rd. I am adjusting from F1. Awesome!
Congratulations! That is super fast!

Received our RFE . They are asking for 3 things
1- the joint sponsors proof of citizenship (easy)
2- proof of income of joint sponsor.. It says we sent proof of how much they make but no proof of actual income ... Not sure what that means but we'll send off pay stubs and bank statements and employment letter
3-according to submitted documents , joint sponsor income isn't above 125% poverty . To either show that person does or get a new joint sponsor
My mom is his sponsor, so we are going to get everything as quick as possible ... But idk why they say she's under poverty because she's not
You said bank statements and paystubs but did you send your moms tax returns too?

Hey guys ! I am sooooo ecstatic right now ! I just received a few emails indicating approval and card production for my EAD !
I am gearing up for job interviews now, I really needed this. I hope I get the actual card soon.
I hope those of you who haven't gotten approval so far, get through very soon
Congratulations! ! Was your case sent to NBC or a different service center?
-
just curious, I have read people saying unsuccessful early walk in, how often they will accept early walk in?
It all depends on your local office. But an early walk in will not speed up your case any. So unless the date they scheduled you is inconvenient, I wouldn't even bother attempting it.

Congrats to ALL that have seen movement and approvals! As slow as the process feels while we wait, when I look at the timelines I'm really shocked that we are less than 90 days out and a lot of you have gotten at least the EAD approved!
To those of you that haven't seen movement, has the "touched" date changed at all? I feel paranoid that after the fingerprints a month ago there still has been no touch of our case.
My case hasn't been "touched" since July 7th and I had my biometrics on the 30th.

Hey guys , still haven't received my RFE for I-485 .. It's been 3 days only so maybe this week we'll get it.
I wanted to know if it affects the EAD too ? Like the status case on EAD doesn't say RFE but it hasn't changed since July 6.... Just wondering
No, it should not affect your EAD. Mine hasn't been touched since July 9th. From what I've seen from the June filers, we should be hearing something on our EAD by the end of August - beginning of September. Hang tight!

EAD/AP NOA arrived today!
Congratulations! !!

Hi all,
I had my interview today; It went weird but I got APPROVED this evening
this is how the interview went
IO first went through the I-130 then to I-485 YES/NO question;then asked my wife how we met and if her family approves of our marriage and took our joint lease, bank statement and looked at our pictures...after she gave a letter saying "A decision cannot be yet be made about your application" and told us we will here from them within 45-60 days...But it took just a couple hours!!!Now waiting for the physical card
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It has only been 2 weeks since my biometrics appointment and the wait is already driving me crazy. Haha.
Congratulations to those who have seen movement in your case!

Hi all, just wanted to update that my interview today went great. Approved on the spot and online status already updated to card in production. It was really a rather pleasant experience. Very basic questions (verifying information on the forms and the standard where did you meet, etc.). In and out in about 10 minutes
I still can't believe the processing time on this. I am so excited!
Congratulations! !!!

Hi everyone, I filed my documents to Chicago on June 16, 2015. I received online interview notification on July 27, 2015 and received paper notification yesterday. My interview date is Sep. 2nd, 2015 at SLC. I submitted my EAD and AP with AOS documents, but I do not see any change ("My case was received" status) on USCIS website yet.
My timeline is the following;
June 15, 2015: Send documents to Chicago
June 16, 2015: File was received
June 22, 2015: E-notification "Case was received"
July 3, 2015: Biometrics notification
July 6, 2015: Biometrics walk-in
July 20, 2015: I-485 online status update notification (Interview is ready for schedule)
July 29, 2015: I-485 online status update notification (Interview was scheduled)
August 1, 2015: Received a letter regarding Interview date and time
Interview date is Sep. 2, 2015.
Oh wow congratulations!!! Your case is moving pretty fast!

Yay! Now the real wait begins, been a month since my biometrics and have not heard a thing. Hopefully soon
I hope you get some good news soon! I don't know what I'm gonna do with my time now.....probably still obsessively check everything lol

Biometrics appointment went well today. I was 2 hours early but there was literally no one else there for biometrics so I was in and out in less than 5 minutes!

Good luck to you all! How long should I await the biometrics letter after NOA1 before I start worrying about it getting lost on the way?
Did you recieve the hard copies yet? I'm not sure how long until you might have to worry but in my case it took exactly 7 days after receiving NOA1s by snail mail.

"NBC Processing Times
NBC Processing Times is a bit of a misnomer in some cases, as NBC does not determine processing times for I-485 and N-400 applications, which constitute the majority of the NBCs workload. NBC does not determine processing times for those case types because NBC does not conduct final adjudication of those casesa USCIS Local Field Office does. So each Local USCIS Field Office determines processing times for Form I-485 and Form N-400 applications. For processing times on N-400 and I-485 applications, please check local USCIS Field Office processing times."
