Hubby called NVC today. Latest word on ds260 becoming available: wait another 10 days.......no surprise answer there.

Word on our paperwork: we got a checklist. My hubby is beating himself up over the fact he forgot to check one little box. I told him to relax, ds260 can't be filed anyways, so. The rep said to him another 30 days processing time for after-checklist docs.

the cover sheet we will get with the check list, is that gonna be the exact same cover sheet with barcode from the AOS/IV package, the one everyone gets in the beginning of the NVC quest?. I just wanna go ahead and start correcting and send stuff in, don't wanna wait another week or so until we actually receive the checklist.

Oh, do you know what they currently say about the processing time needed for ds260?

that cover sheet they send is for mail not ep. if you have a checklist for ep all you do is write your case number in the subject area and that will be good

i sent mine april 30th, scan date was may 8th and i heard from them last week. You might hear from them this week

I just found out that NVC has a lot of delayed problems with many cases. The 30 days review changed to 45 days review. they don't accept old document cover sheets, you have to write your case number on the right hand corner of each document you mail or e mail to them and you have to send back the letter they sent to you with your checklist. failure to do so will significantly delay your case. that's what I was told by one of their nice agent on the phone

Do you know what is wrong with your AOS and are on EP. For EP applicants you don't need to wait for the checklist e-mail. You can send your docs using the AOS coversheet.

Guys I used to call them everyday, once in the morning and once right before they close. I also emailed them twice asking about my husbands case till finally when I called last Wednesday told me that my case was reviewed but have to correct AOS. So I am waiting for the checklist to be emailed to me so I can correct the AOS and send it back with the cover sheet. I called them yesterday to ask when will I receive, they said they been real busy and got hit with a lot of approved applicants and it will take another week for them to just e mail me my checklist I wander if they are understaffed or what is going on?

scan date was may 11 but I sent everything April 30th. the checklist is for AOS to be corrected my brother needs to add his wife on part 6A and B. and her name as a household member, that's what I was told over the phone. I am waiting for them to send me the checklist so I can send it back with the cover sheet. They said by next week I should get the checklist

Well I was on day 47 when I called and was told that my case was reviewed and I have a checklist. I am glad they have reviewed it but saddened that I have a checklist. the wait continue

LOL , Same exact checklist twice , Stupid lawyer! That's why i FIRED HIS A**&&& . LOL . I have to correct him 2 times too . AOS form And tax documents etc etc ...

lol yeah thats what my checklist for AOS. my brother was suppose to add his wifes name on his AOS because he added her income

The first one i got april 27th , I call to find out in the morning around 8ish , And they email me around 5pm the same day . The second one june 11th but i didn't got the email until the 14th .

why do you have two check lists??

How long does the NVC take to email you the checklist. I just spoke to an agent and she told me what I was missing and there is a checklist for me, but she never said when I will receive the checklist?

yeah I'm so rude honestly haha this morning I swear on everything my exact words after they asked how may I help you I said " you can't supervisor please" their like well alright lol .

well the checklist is a bummer but at least you got some type of news, my checklist through email went faster so it shouldn't be too bad .

lol i was calling them 3 times a day, sometimes I would hang up on my agent and call again to see if i get a different answer. I drove them nuts, I feel sorry for them that they had to deal with me. Anyways I guess my checklist will be e mailed to me, I already did what she asked me to fix right away. I am just waiting for them to send me the check list so I can scan it and send it to them with the corrected AOS. I pray this will go smoothly

no it WAS, then it is now 45 ish or so . No matter what ep is slow mine went fast reviewed 33 days each time but I call so much they get tired of me I think .

Hi I just got off the phone with an operator she told me that my case was reviewed and there is a check list for me that i will receive shortly and did explain that my co sponsor needs to add his wife on his AOS because he used her income. she also told me that my DS260 was reviewed and it looks fine

it was taking about 75 days right before I got to the nvc in April, I know a guy that's ep still waiting he sent his April 21st I watch his on the other thread the scan date one or whatever . I sent my first one April 2nd got reviewed the 5th of May they send me a checklist that was wrong but I replied to it anyways on the 7th of May and the reviewed it on the 5th of June, ep is a mess I will tell you that now it has caused me too many problems and they never sent me a email saying they received my documents . Always ask for a supervisor everyone knows me on here I call every day to annoy them and it tends to work sometimes in my favor .

So it took them 75 days after you sent your AOS/IV package to send you anything??? You telling me I have to wait another month for this I am planning on traveling to see my husband, but I want to get the NVC to tell me that my case is complete before I go so I be on the safe side if they need me to send anything I don't have to cancel my trip and come back

don't worry I'm ep as well your scan date is the date you emailed the documents, they won't ever send you an email confirmation it's not the normal for ep people, I never got one and my documents got reviewed, ep has always been slightly longer then snail mail so the same timelines do not apply to us sadly, 45 days is the normal for us 30 for snail mail . We always take a little longer, being ep sucks so I've felt your pain .

I am worried because its been 47 days and they tell me that my package still not reviewed. Why was it filed but not reviewed . She told me it will take up to 42 days for a supervisor to review it. WHY??WHY?? When did you send your package and did you receive anything from me??

Unfortunately, hiring a lawyer is not going to speed up the process. Please call NVC often. Did you get a confirmation email from NVC saying that they received your package ?

Did you email your AOS/IV package or send it via Postal mail ? If you emailed, please check again if you are eligible to electronically submit documents.

I emailed my AOS/IV package because that's the only way I can send it to NVC according to them and no I didn't get a confirmation email from them, When I called them the first time, a woman answered and said unfortunately they do not always send a confirmation email or a letter. But she did tell me that they did receive and e mail from me may 10th and my case was filed may 28th but not reviewed. I asked her for a scan date and she just said I will have a supervisor review it and it will take up to 42 days I almost cried. I called again today and nothing is been done to my case, I asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold and then the same person came back and said the supervisor will have the other department scan your package?????

I'm on the same boat.....I'm on my 70th day of waiting. Just praying for good thing to heppen in sha Allah.

I want to know if anyone here has sent their AOS/IV, civil documentation and didn't hear anything from NVC. I sent my package APRIL 30th and Received nothing from NVC. I called them 30 days after I emailed my package, I was told they have filed it on may 28th but didn't reviewed it!!!! what does that mean? I said why I didn't get a scan date, he said that he will flagged for a supervisor review. I called 6 days after and nothing is done. its been 47 days NO SCAN DATE, NO REVIEW, NO EMAIL?? Should I hire a lawyer

Send my AOS/IV package and filled ds260 April 30th, till this day I have not heard anything from NVC. I called them they said that they have received an email from me on may 10th but my case was not scanned or reviewed. called again someone told me my case was filed may 28th but not reviewed, flagged for a supervisor review, have to wait 42 days. called again and yet no one looked at my e mail, again was flagged by a supervisor for the other department to scan my package?? I am so confused! Its been 47 days and nothing. Did this happen to anyone here??

I submitted my AOS/IV Package, DS260 April 30th, 45 days later no scan date, nor review of my case. I called NVC multiple time, they said they have received an email may 10th, case was filed may 28th but not reviewed. The agent requested a supervisor review, called 6 days later no review or scan date and they wont give me an answer. Has this ever happened to anyone??
