they don't give you an English dafter 3alah. you have to translate it yourself

Does the Daftar al3aleh/family book need to be translated or is the original Arabic version enough? (I have the english version of the Marriage certificate from the civil court already).

yes dafter al3alah needs to be translated and you must have a marriage certificate from the ahwal madania. if you go there sunday you will get one same day and ask them to give u one in English

Hello. you need to get your marriage certificate from the ahwal almadnia. they will take the other certificate they want to make sure that your marriage is been registered with the ahwal madania. good that you have the family book, they asked my husband for the marriage certificate from the ahwal madania and the family book, he didn't have them at the time of the interview. Week after he sent it to them they issued his Visa. its better to be safe than sorry, just have both the marriage certificate from the ahwal madania and the family book incase they ask. when you have your interview stay calm and answer very honestly.

It changed today, I checked this morning and It said Ready, this afternoon, it changed to AP. It is very strange because today is Friday.Is possible that they work on Fridays these days!!

Mahmoud Samara DOS here in USA changes the status not the embassy. Embassy will print the visa when DOS changes it to ISSUED. I have done lots of research to understand what happens after the interview!! The consular interview the applicant, then he either approves, ask for more documents, or think it needs more processing, then he types all the notes he takes during the interview and attach it to applicants case and from their the DOS will either issue the visa right away or put it on AP for extended period of time till they finish with their processing.

Finally, my wife's visa status changed to Administrative Processing. How long does this stage normally take?

We have been waiting for 39 days since the interview, I hope that we don't have to wait any longer!!!!

go to armex the main office in amman and they will help u with it.

but when u register on ustraveldocs.com

you must chose IV Address and then you chose CR1 then u fill out the information on the sheet then you get to chose which armex you want to pick up your passport from

After my status changed to ap again and my case has been closed,i called the embassy,and they told me ap now mean print the visa and from now til mondy ur passport will be ready alhamdulillah,the quastion now how much days will be to change the stats to issed ?

I think they mean that your visa will be issued soon

The first time my wife called, the woman told her your visa is ready to be printed. One week later, the same women said I cannot tell you anything because your visa is under process. My wife and I have sent three emails so far demanding an answer, and we heard the same response in all emails; your visa is under process. The emails did not say Administrative Process, they said under process. Is there a difference between the two?

its the same thing that is what I was told when i called its under process but when i check the status it was under AP two days later it got changed to Issued. please call your senate office and get them involve, they will do something and speed up the process because your wife has the approval letter

Wow, I don't know what to tell you, what's happening with you I never heard about such a similar case, maybe as you mentioned about Saudi Arabia that they're checking as security procedures , hopefully and insha allah they gonna issue your visa and send your wife the passport soon,

I was just told by my husband that there was someone who got interviewed with him on the same day and instead of sending his visa to a location in amman they sent it to Irbid location it took a week for him to track it. Just make sure you should go on ustravelsdoc.com/amm and make sure you have picked a location for her to pick up her passport. if it was security check they would have changed it to AP. call your senate office and get them involve, have your wife scan and email you the approval letter and send it to the senate and i am sure the minute they see that you got the senate office invlove they will either issue the visa or come up with answers to why they havent issued her visa

After intrview til now they updated my status 4 time and today last updated and still nothing new.what that mean if anyone know?

it means someone is opening your case and looking at it, either reading notes, changing something, adding notes, or getting your visa and paper work together, hopefully tomorrow it will change to Issued inshallah

Did your wife's visa status changed to AP or is it still on Ready?? keep calling them and let them know that they have given your wife the approval for the visa and its been over a month and still nothing. no still ap<i called them in tusday between 3_4 and the person who asnwerd she told me they receve the papers i send to them and once the visa ready they will update it and she told me keep check on my case online and hopfully soon,yestrday they update my case and still nothing

be patient i will take 5 to 6 business days after they receive your documents to issue the visa, that's what happened to my husband. yesterday he picked up his visa from armex, yours will come soon.

allah yebarik fik and inshallah u will get it soon ya raab. they received my husbands papers on the 18th and today they issued him the visa al7amduallah so it was about 5 business days after they received it. i didn't count weekend or the holidays

how would you give them a copy of your pic's !? should we prepare an album to hand over lol

My husband and I got engaged December of 2013, and married august of 2014, so my husband took 10 pictures from December 2013, 20 pictures from the time I was in Jordan 2014, and around 15 pictures from the time I was there 2015.. so they saw that I was in Jordan during the winter and summer. if you have honey moon pictures do show them, they look for these pictures. alhamdullah my husband have many of them and pictures with both families together too it helps a lot.

I called them, they said your husbands case is at the embassy in Jordan and since they put it on AP we cant do anything we have to wait and should contact the embassy. so I will wait till Wednesday then call them

InshaAllah khair,the embassy receved the papers today,i just check in aramex.com and it said dilverd,so the embassy will tell us if they receve papers now or what?
