Good afternoon VJ family i got my green card approve on the spot today , the guy was so nice he stamp my passport with a temporary green card stamp so i can travel wile waiting for my green card to be mail to me. Even after he said he approve it he ask to see me or my wife text mesaage to see if we communicate daily good thing we do. I wish everyone else that is waiting best of luck.

Goodafternoon i want to shear this with VJ family and hope it will help someone. I got a change of status on the 3rd February as i mention before and it stated if i dont receive a mail by the 4th march i should email them at the site they provided, i did that yesterday only to get a reply that they will be in contact with me by the 25th march , keeping in mind my interview is next week. So i call the office and they said they will fax it, it took me 4 hours waiting to receive a fax. SO MY ADVICE IS IF UR INTERVIEW IS CLOSE AND YOU DID NOT GET THE MAIL CALL THEM LET THEM FAX IT.

Guys i finally had my interview & it went well.Though i didn't get approved on the spot but i got the approval notice much after the interview......I wish you all the best. GOODLUCK

congratulation i got my inteview date via my online case status since the 3rd and todate no letter in the mail , thats 17 days ago.

Just wanted to update my status,

I checked the mailbox today and saw that my interview notice had arrived on Feb 11th, Interview finally scheduled for March 23rd!!

Also, I used to get email and/or texts every time there was a status update. Last notice I got was that they received my RFE response back in July last year (for the I485, I got status updates for EAD and AP). Radio silence regarding the I485 since. Not even waiting to be scheduled for interview. My status online doesn't even mention that I have been scheduled for interview. Just a heads up to other people still waiting for that interview notice...if there is anyone else left

I guess because of the different people that are working on our case because my status change to interview scheduled for march since the 3rd feb and todate i have not recieve the mail yet.

i was surprise when i saw the status change because when i call uscis last month they said they were working on march filers so i average my interview would have been in april. I pray you guys get good new too shortly .

Today my status change i have my interview in march. Already nervous.

So thats 10 months from march to january.

So i call uscis today because its been 5 months since my case is ready to schedule for interview, the operator said the office that is processing my application is now working on march filers and she dont know when they will reach june filers so she suggested i call once a month for a update . Dame

Goodnight VJ family its been a wile since i post here , actraully since i get my work permit i was so busy but i was keeping track. Most of us on the same line my case status change to case ready for interview since the 7th august thats 4 months and i have not heard a word since then it seem nothing is going on in NEW YORK. Holding the faith my work keep my mind off of the situation.

now this is crazy according to Long Island processing time as of July 31st the processing October 2014. If my calculation is right then till march 2016 they will reach June 2015

Based on USCIS processing time, your local office is processing Feb 9th 2015 as July 31st which means now they are processing April 9th 2015 as Sept 30 2015. I think you would hear something from USCIS within 1-2 months. Keep in mind your case is in normal process time. Hope this will help!

Don't be nervous as you can still do a lot since you still got little time left before your interview. If your wife drives, then she can add you to her auto insurance and also you can get life insurance from globe life insurance, stating each other as the beneficiary. The globe life insurance cost less than $5 and you can get the paper work before your interview. If your wife uses credit cards, she can add you as an authorize user to any of her credit cards.Goodluck

You can use your EAD to get a State ID from the DMV. If that's not enough, find another bank or credit union. What about other important things, like insurance, or personal communications/trips, etc.?thanks for the advice , I already went to Dmv for none drivers ID and also I did the drivers permit exams I'm awaiting all 2 of the cards to be mail to me. But I'm just looking at the facts that when we do open the account it will be a short time from my interview I won't want the interviewer to think anything funny.

I just received an email saying my EAD card has been ordered!!! Woh hooooo!!! I received a RFE on July 23 and I hadn't heard anything until today!!

Morning VJ family I'm officially nervous my status move to interview date in October, my main fear is I just got my work permit and in the process of looking for a job. Me and my wife have nothing together since we live at her dads place and she assist with the mortgage, we can't get a joint account as yet cause chase bank need me to get a us ID FIRST . So all we have is our togetherness pictures. I'm scared that's not enough any advice.

I see everyone sharing good news so I'll chip in went to apply for my social number on Thursday and I got it today this was fast lol they told me with in 2 weeks. Job hunt begins

I received a RFE stating that my sponsor ( my husband) didn't meet the poverty line. We submitted our package based on his assets, since he was not working and it wasn't enough to USCIS. However, my huband got a job offer last week and will start his new job on October 01st. We will now reply the RFE explaining and sending the job offer letter to USCIS. DO you think would be enough? His new salary covers more than the poverty line.

i got a referral for a similar situation like yours my wife was out of a job from June 2013 to June 2014 , but when we file she was in a new job for almost a year making enough to sponsor 5 person, but yet they said she was not making enough, so I just get a next sposor just to avoid exchanging letter with Uscis.

I got mine in a week so just keep an eye on your mailbox

I downloaded the Uscis app but all my status there are old status .ex I-485 saying received evidence but my actual status for that is case ready to scheduled for interview.

Morning VJ family I went to the social security office here on Jamaica avenue , it was so fast 10 minutes and I was out of there. Sad that I have to wait 2 weeks for the card to mail hahahha.
