    I believe the case is expedited because the case was approved, and recalled. Basically they screwed up the process and the cases that were approved should all be reapproved *very* quickly. They should never have done such a cruel thing to anyone to start with - but that is just my opinion.

    I noticed that and wonder if these were people that might have applied for that special request to have the application expedited. I did not meet the requirements to expedite so mine was just "normal".

    I did not know you could make a request to have your case expedited ... how does one apply and what is the criteria? Hardship, or the like??

    I am happy the AR did not drag out any longer. I can imagine how that feels stuck waiting.

    Congratulations and hope its a safe trip! =)

    I just wanted to let you all know that my Fiance got the visa. Our interview was on July 7 and i was there.....we got AR :(

    In the mail today she got a package from embassy with her passport and visa!
