My husbands interview is tomorrow after waiting 4 months just to get a date for that these last hours drag on forever .

Appointment scheduled after months of waiting for jordan, cc July 1st appointment for November 2nd !

Since you've already started the consular processing, it wouldn't make sense to stay and adjust. I would recommend calling NVC and talking to a supervisor. That's what I ended up doing since our case was stuck since July. It took me two chats with a supervisor to finally have it completed the day of the 2nd chat.

Case Complete: August 20th
Scan Date (Checklist): July 27th
Add me to the scan date to CC spreadsheet, if anyone is still taking care of it. And the CC to Interview spreadsheet.
Some other info about my case that might be of interest to anyone still waiting on a case complete. I had asked for supervisor review on August 18th because it had been more than 30 days and my DS260 hadn't been reviewed, and then called and asked to speak to a supervisor on August 20th. One wasn't available, and they took down my information to call me back. Later that day, two days after being put on supervisor review, my case was completed. So in my case, supervisor review didn't lead to being put in a separate queue that took a longer time, it actually made things go that much faster, or maybe it didn't change anything and they finally just got around to reviewing my case anyway. Checklist was reviewed in under thirty days.
I feel a great sense of relief. If anything, I probably stressed out more than I should have about the NVC, but we were there since April and with all the website delays things got really nerve-wracking. Even though it seems like it might be forever til I get an interview, I am going to try to be more patient. Easier said than done though. My wife and I went out to celebrate the CC this weekend, and her family acted like we were nuts. They didn't understand how draining this all has been, but I know all of you at VJ do!

I called NVC last night waited forever then when I got the rep, I held the phone between my face and shoulder and fumbled for my August tab in my planner. She had just confirmed I had a case number and I wanted to write it on August 11's date... then my face hung up on her...lolololol :rofl:It was 11:30 and it told me they were closed back during 7 to 12. So I called this morning at 6:59 and at 7:03 was able to get case number and IIN (This time planner was already open to the date)...Whoopeee!
P.S. Ceac site doesnt recognize it yet but who cares... We got our number..so stoked! Happy Wednesday Y'all

I called this morning and found out they finally received my case!

oh sorry you had to wait for so long, I'm happy you finally got CC, when is your interview?
I told the operator "dont put me into supervisor review ! i might get reviewed tomorrow"
but she said that she had to, that i wouldn't get reviewed otherwise.
I think i did get reviewed on july 28, because the title of the checklist email is the date of my new scanned date (july 6)
but the checklist didn't make sense...
and two operators said it was a false checklist so my mother in law and I believed that

THE 3RD N/A HAS APPEARED!
After 50 days of our check list documents stagnating, it was sent to a supervisor July 28th. I've not been able to stop myself from obsessively looking at our case many times every day since then. This morning at 10:30am it was still 2 N/A and a "PAID". I just looked again 2 hours later and "paid" has changed to N/A

So sorry Claclaa! It doesn't necessarily have to be 42 days.. but that is the maximum..or longer.. I pray you wont have to wait that long. I also have been through that hell of a place.. i know the feeling..

Case complete =/= interview date scheduled
When your case is completed, it's put in a queue for an interview date to be assigned. Depending on when your case is complete and what embassy/consulate you're going through, the time can vary from same day to many months.
I suggest you go to the first post, click on the link to Dwheels' interview thread, and see what the average times are looking at for your embassy/consulate. You can also use the tools on VJ to check as well.

My check list scan date was may 14th- i called today and asked to speak to a supervisor and the rep was nice enough to transfer me- the supervisor said my documents were missed place and I my doc should be review before the end of this week, I been reading so many bad things about supervisor review I'm scared- should I believe him and call back on Thursday? Or did he just say that to get of the phone?

she's SUPPOSE to come on Sunday but the chances of that are dwindling, so Monday I'll be induced and disappear from here essentially lol . Guess the nvc will get a break from me as well .

Yay guys, I just got a case complete email from NVC...but the website doesn't show the third n/a, should I be worried? will call them tomorrow to verify.

UPDATE: paid fee a few mins ago, now says in process so we shall see how this goes in the next few days AS WELL where it says iv application it says not started so I do indeed think once it goes to paid it will let me click, fingers crossed .

yeah I'm so rude honestly haha this morning I swear on everything my exact words after they asked how may I help you I said " you can't supervisor please" their like well alright lol . well the checklist is a bummer but at least you got some type of news, my checklist through email went faster so it shouldn't be too bad .

she said there's no reason if you happen to pay it twice that they wouldn't refund you, you just explain why you want it and that's it . I feel supervisors are the only people that at least try to do their jobs at times .

Thanks for calling and asking. We are the point now that we are almost willing to pay it without a guarantee of a refund... It's been a while and just the thought of a couple more months added to this process is heartbreaking.
