We received our P4 letter from the NVC and we have our interview date on January 19, 2016!!!
Got our CC email dec 9, 2015.

Hey guys! Just an update! I had the interview this morning and when I checked ceac right now before going to bed, it already shows ISSUED! Mumbai embassy is on a roll!
We are so happy!!

OMG I can't believe it. I am shaking like crazy.

Couldn't be any happier because my love is coming to visit me and my family on January 24 so if we are lucky we can fly back together
That also means I have to schedule my medical asap, though I think that the doc in Frankfurt has a walk in service (if that's what it is called idk)

I had my interview today in Mumbai! VISA APPROVED!! ON THE SPOT!
Husband and I are so happy!! I was barely even asked anything, wasn't asked to show any pictures, nothing. I was out of the embassy by 8am!! Was in there for barely half an hour!!
I was told to pick up my passport in 3-5 days!

APPROVED on the spot!! Picking up my passport with the visa on Thursday!! Thank you my VJ family for all your support and prayers! Will be posting my experience soon!! To God be the glory!!

But I picked up my passport today from the Waterloo location with no problems at all. I briefly showed them the e-mail with the tracking information, they asked for my ID and then I signed for it and that was that. My packet inside was still sealed with only the corners a little roughed up and all of the information printed in my visa was correct, all of which I feel very lucky for.

Here is my CEAC timeline for anyone interested:

Dec. 2nd: Interview. Status: Ready, Immigrant Visa. Updated Date changed to Dec. 2nd
Dec. 3rd: Status still Ready, Immigrant Visa. Case Status Updated date changed to Dec. 3rd
Dec. 4th: Status still Ready, Immigrant Visa. Case Status Updated date changed to Dec. 4th
Dec. 5th + 6th: Weekend. No changes.
Dec. 7th (AM): Status still Ready, Immigrant Visa. Case Status Updated date still says Dec. 4th
Dec. 7th (PM): Status changed to Ready, Non-Immigrant Visa! Case Status Updated date and Case Creation date both changed to Dec. 7th
Dec. 8th: Status changed to Non-Immigrant Administrative Processing. Case Status Updated date changed to Dec. 8th
Dec. 9th: Status changed to Issued!
Dec. 10th: Received tracking number from Canadapost.
Dec. 11th: Package ready for pick up in Waterloo, Package picked up and Visa in hand.

Finally-the wait for the first part is over!
I checked online today and saw that our I-130 application was APPROVED from the Texas Service Center on December 8.. It was accepted on July 27, so the approval came in at just under 5 months.
Now on to the next step at NVC. Fingers crossed that things move smoothly from here!!

Wow! You were so lucky! I am a very well organised person, I don't take too many risks if it involves emotions or money! well done to you though!
You just made me realise how much more visa work is required!
You guys have massively helped me and I've enjoyed reading all your experiences. It is clear to see that having a court house wedding for the sake of paperwork doesn't take the romance and joy from the marriage. Wether you have a second ceremony or not.
I have made my decision - I am going to do court house, and then plan my dream wedding the following year, with people, flowers, ponies and the WORKS!!

Good Morning VJ folks..received an email this morning with the Canada Post tracking #. Wishing a speedy journey for everyone on this forum!

I did do a lot of front loading. I even sent them a 25 page child art style book I made (which I let the kids color) that explained our whole story with pictures instead of words.

ISSUED today!!!!

now just waiting for that waybill number and hoping it gets to me soon

Just cleared customs at Toronto POE. The first woman was being extremely rude and talking to me as if I was mentally handicapped. The people in secondary were very friendly and I got processed in 5 minutes. Unreal it's finally over, AOS up next : )

Thank you! When my husband was approved I was so happy, I cried like a baby. When I saw the visa today, I was back to the Kleenex box again. I had better have plenty of tissue in my pocket when I meet him in the airport, because I know I'm going to be a mess.

I got my passport with visa and yellow envelope with documents today. It took 6 days after my interview. Going to pay green card fee.
Finally my immigration journey is finished. Well, at least for couple years

Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubts The local delivery company said to call them after 6pm and if delivered, the passport can be picked up until 7 pm. Hope, this will happen, then we'll be able to buy the tickets for December 10th. Packing... cleaning up the apartment... happy!

We got it!!! We finally got the approval notice today!!! They didn't text nor email me, however, I have been relentlessly checking our status and it's showing approved as of today!!!! Finally!!! I am weeping lol!!!
We are a June 29th so you guys hang in there and we will be cheering for you too very very soon!!!
