Not really, I live in the middle of Arkansas, 15 minutes from Little Rock, but Little Rock has no field office, the field office for Arkansas is in Fort Smith, all the way to the northeast of the state, and everyone in my county is assigned to Memphis instead of Fort Smith.

Odd, I'm in a similar situation, I live near Little Rock, AR, but my field office is Memphis, TN. I was told my oath ceremony might be either in Little Rock or in Memphis, nothing about having to be in Little Rock, where, from what I can tell, the last oath ceremony was in 2013 (I hear they do it twice a year or less in Little Rock, and twice a month in Memphis).

Got the e-mail from USCIS today that I've been put in queue for the Oath Ceremony. Now to see how long it will take for them to schedule a date for me (thought I might get lucky and get scheduled for the Nov 13th one, but I guess not).

I asked if I'd be scheduled to take my oath in Memphis or Little Rock, and he said it depends on Little Rock having one soon, but that I might be scheduled for Memphis. He didn't give me a time frame, but I do know from the other member who got approved in Memphis that there's a ceremony on the 13th of November, wondering if they'd schedule me in time for that one.

I'll be home just for Christmas and New Years, 2 weeks. This time I'm going to my family's farm in Rondônia, haven't been there since 2009, but last time I was in Brazil was Christmas of 2011, as the whole family spent it at my brother's house in Teresópolis, RJ.

I can't help with your case specifically because I'm not familiar with the French laws, but if it's anything like Brazilian laws, your US citizenship should have no bearing on your eligibility to renew your french passport (unless France specifically says if you get a different citizenship you lose yours). Have you looked at the requirements to renew your passport at your jurisdiction's French Consulate? Whenever I have to deal with my Consulate they only ask ID from my country, and proof of address (like my driver's license or a bill in my name) they never ask to see my Green Card, or even ask what's my status in the US (if I'm a legal or illegal resident).

Just wondering 'cus I leave to Brazil December 20th, and I'm trying to figure out timeline to get the passport done in order, depending how long it takes to schedule the oath I might have to ask them to schedule it for after I return in January. No agency here that I can get same day passport, so even if I expedite it will take a couple weeks, I assume.

What was everyone's time between interview approval and updated status online for oath ceremony? Not the ceremony date itself, but how long after the interview did you hear from USCIS?

I don't know if much has changed, but when I went through the K1 process, in 2006, the Consulate sent us a package with the requirements and documents needed for the interview, we had to complete the package and mail it to them, and after that they'd schedule our interview.

Once we knew we were approved and that our process was already on it's way to Rio (by calling NVC), we'd start gathering all those documents ahead of the Consulate asking for them, so we'd basically "skip" the waiting on that phase.

It used to be package 3 and 4, 3 mailed to them, 4 taken with us to the interview, but I saw a topic here saying that has changed, and it's only one package now, so I'm not sure if the procedure to get an interview has also changed.

Had my interview today in Memphis. Drove 300 miles for 5 minutes in the office. LoL.

Waiting room had about 4 people waiting. I was called promptly at my appointed time and the official was very professional, and pretty fast talking and to the point. Got sworn in, then we reviewed my file and he finished with the test.

Now to wait for oath ceremony date.

EDIT: For those who like knowing the questions asked, I got the easiest ones, lol:
- What is the name of the National Anthem?
- How old do citizens have to be to vote for President?
- What ocean is on the West coast?

- What happened on Sep 11, 2001?

- What is the rule of law?

- Why does the flag have 13 stripes?

My reading sentence was "How many senators are there?" and I had to write "There are one hundred senators".

I was wondering, for those who applied based on 5 years, what documents did you actually take to the interview?

Congratulations to everyone who's had their interviews and oaths since I last checked up on you.

My interview in next Friday and I've been so busy I haven't even gone through all the documentation I'm supposed to bring. Will get on it this weekend and leave it all ready for next week.

He did, he was asked about all the questions on the N-400. The officer always go through all questions to make sure everything is right.

Interview letter arrived today, updating my timeline.

I'm on the boat of wishing it was same day oath, as it is I'm thinking I'll have to ask for a delay for an oath date in January, not sure I'll have time to do the oath and get my passport before leaving the country for a Xmas vacation.

Got the e-mail saying I was scheduled for an interview. Will update the timeline once I get the letter and receive the date.

Now that we have had couple of interviews and Oath, June filers will be busy filing for US passport in the next few months...

What do you all think about adding another tracker for US passports to this thread since almost everyone in the June thread will be applying for US passports.

I personally find it unnecessary and the spreadsheet is large enough as is.
