Today my case status changed to "New Card is Being Produced" :) I am not sure if the inquiry my local congressman sent last week was what caused the movement in my case. This is the first update I have gotten since June 2018 so I am hoping you all get your case approved soon as well!

Congratulations.!! What is the first few # of your WAC and when was your receipt date?

Not identical but similar. I looked today or yesterday and it was exactly the same as it has been since April 2018.  I just went in to check so I could say for sure it was April and now nothing is there....like nothing!  I am hoping that is a good sign. (well it is my birthday tomorrow so maybe!!)

So was mine. There was nothing there when i checked earlier but i think its just a system glitch.

Wanted to make my first post here - I applied for my I-751, receipt date 12/22/2017, and after the same things other people have seen (my case was bounced between offices, I had letters sent to a non-existent attorney, I was told I didn't need new biometrics but then I was brought in for a biometrics appointment) I was finally told my card was being produced yesterday morning, 8/30/2019. I'd made my infopass appointment about a week before, and when I was there the USCIS officer told me my case was finally being reviewed - I wonder if making my infopass appointment had anything to do with it.

Congratulations.!! Whats the first few numbers of your WAC?

  4. Went to the field office to get a stamp this morning and it was pretty seamless but IO got me all excited when she pulled up my information on the computer and said "Looks like your Card is being produced", my eyes lit up immediately. I didn't say anything bc she was doing stuff on the computer and didn't want to interrupt, she steps away to put the stamp on my passport and when she returned, I  followed up on her comment about the possibility of my document being produced, however she told me she was "looking at the old card" - omg, lol. The wait continues.

I check about 115 Cases in the Range WAC18087004XX to WAC18087005XX using the USCIS Case Status app by Stephen Aldous. I found about 10-12 cases in the range got moved to a different office I'm not sure which office exactly. Looks like CSC has more I-751 cases than it can handle and is offloading the cases to other field offices. I'm not sure if these cases that got moved will get approved or will just get dragged on longer. Please update if your case got moved again in August 2019 and mention the field office to where it moved. Thanks!

I noticed the same. hopefully that means things are going to start moving.

    Hello everyone,

An update on my case: I submitted my ROC petition on Dec 22, 2017 at the CSC. There was no movement on my case other than the transfer to another office, which I'm not even sure ever happened, my case stayed with CSC. I applied for naturalization when I became eligible, in December 2018. In June 2019 I received an invitation to go to my N400 interview in Jacksonville FL, which happened on July 11. I emailed them to ask if it was going to be a combo interview, as my I751 hadn't gotten approved. They replied with a generic message that never actually answered my question. The interview ended up being a combo interview. I finally became a citizen yesterday, Aug 16, 2019, thus concluding my journey.

I wanted to thank everyone here for all your posts. They helped me a LOT, from making me understand I was not the only one going through this, to getting advice from you guys or just reading about your experiences. I sincerely hope this will be over soon for everyone and wish you nothing but the best!!

    congratulations.

CSC processing time for I-751 is 15 to 20 month.  If you check the USCIS processing time, then select I-751 and then all service centers, you will see  21-36 months and tier 2 officer said that number. It seems , it is  a standard formatted answer.    I think, your I-751 is in NBC and waiting for your N-400 interview and then they will be send to local office together.  What is the approximate timeline of your local office for N-400 interview?

I have not filed N-400 and that is my confusion because the posted timeline for CSC is 20Months.

This is the same generic message I seen a December filer got after service requests. LoL .. USCIS just dont have it together. To think that you got that response 20min after simply shows they dont care smh... I'm hold now to get infopass appointment to get i551 stamp because I have a trip next month

I spoke to a tier 2 officer about my case out of posted processing timeframe, i was told the office handling my case is taking btwn 21-36 months, im confused. I scheduled an info pass to get a stamp.

My case status is yet to change since my biometrics in 6/4. It's just funny I know a June 2017 filer who had his biometrics one week after mine and his status changed to "review biometrics blah blah"... Nothing yet so far still patiently waiting

Mine hasn't changed either after bio-metric 6/10. This is becoming very troubling. What could be going on?

after my last update yesterday  May 29 I received a notice of uscis that my case "was transferred to another jurisdiction" I have not done biometrics traces or have asked for more evidence!  What do you think ?

You'll probably hear something soon. When did you file and have you filed n400? I have not heard anything since the letter of reusing my biometrics February 22. Lets keep our fingers crossed
