My PD IS 09/19/16. I never got a RFE but still waiting for NOA2

Our case is 7 months, 14 days.( Nebraska PD is October 3rd)

When tried to file a case inquiry at the USCIS website it will not go through, the message says "Our case is within the normal processing time".

Also never been transferred or got an RFE.

    No so patiently waiting.

I have a quivk question. Maybe it can take us all off the loop of thinking about the LONG WAIT!

I have not yet changed my last name to that of my husband's. Will this make any red-flags arise? Is it advised to change my name?

The reason I haven't is that I didn't want to pay for a new passport AND run the risk of it not being ready by the time I needed to get back to my sweet husband.

    What say you, VJ'ers?

The first time I went through the I-130 process, USCIS ( INS at that time ) changed my name without even asking me.

I comfort myself by convincing myself that getting transferred isn't better. Those people might have longer to wait. Who knows? But it makes me feel a little better.

Hang in there Nebraska filers! They are coming up on 2 months to finish off August, which means they should be moving on very soon! Cases getting transferred should help out a little bit too. Your approvals are sooner than you think ^_^

Yep lets hang in there! It cannot be that much longer now!;)

Not exactly up his alley, they're self funded.

Trump is working in our behalf. During his address to Congress he Mentioned Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas and the Raise Act sponsored by Senators Cotton (R AR) and Perdue (R GA). The Raise Act renews first priority to the Nuclear Family (Us) and reduces total immigration by about 50-Percent. Senator Cotton is a Veteran, Harvard Lawyer and rapidly went from the House of Representatives to the Senate. I suspect the Raise Act is Trumps Immigration Reform Act.

We are not being treated fairly because of the prior administration wanting to change the population characteristics of our Country.

My experience is that USCIS since 2002 has had emphasis in other issues rather than restoration of the Nuclear Family. The K3 and K4 Visa's were a part of the Life Act with the intent to reduce separation times for the Nuclear Family. Our problem also existed in Spades in 2002. Perhaps a common letter, with real Statistics, to Senator Cotton and Perdue could help.

I finished my analysis of the receipt numbers from cases before my priority date of August 2. There are around 300 I-130s left from the last couple of days of July that still need to be approved. I have noticed a lot of cases from July 28 being approved in the last two days, so Nebraska should be starting to finish up on those last cases from July in these next few weeks and hopefully continue with August as we head into March.

    We wish for the same!

Hello Everyone. Finally Finally Finally. After 130 days of waiting, got APPROVED.:jest::jest::jest:. My wife checked the application and it said that the case got approved on 12th January 2017. Best of luck for all the people who are waiting as i was. Service Center POTOMAC.

    Congratulation!!! :D

Every time we read an approval is like a breath of fresh air, which makes the wait more tolerable.
