i'm definitely going to take a look at Lufthansa seeing as a lot of people are recommending them, their flights seem pretty cheap aswell!
how are pets managed with Lufthansa when it comes to connecting flights? will they take care of that for me?
and ive just added her on facebook soloenta

I don't know anyone who took the cat with who does not have that passport. They wanted to see the one from my cat
Plus the health certificate isn't allowed to be older than 10 days before the flight goes
okay thanks! ill look more into that

i thought i would only need the passport if they were returning to the uk?

Yeah i have read about the restrictions on the time of year they can fly, if they're not able to fly at the same time i do, i'm intending to force my mum to bring them over on her first visit haha.
Soloenta, those kinds of prices would be perfect! i hope i can get mine over that cheap aswell, can i just ask too, did your cats fly with you or did you have them shipped over separately?

Thanks alot, that's eased my mind so much, ill give them a ring tomorrow!

hi guys!
me and my fiancée are in the final stages of our K1 visa, we are currently waiting on an interview date so im trying to work out costs and things for everything im going to need when its moving time.
I have 3 cats (non pedigree) who are coming with me when i move but i have no idea where to start looking on information on the cheapest and safest way for this to happen.
i know a lady whos family moved to America a few years ago and she took the family dog over to them a few months after they had settled in and he travelled in the cabin with her. i very much doubt this is possible for me seeing as i have 3 babies not 1.
im just looking for any advice from people who have made the move and sucessfully taken their beloved pets with them, as leaving them behind really isnt an option for me!
Thanks in advance

Thanks so much guys, my letter did say about redoing the letter of intend but i just figured id have to do other things too, nothing in this whole visa stuff is ever simple! lol
and i tried calling to check if my interview had been scheduled but i couldn't find anywhere to speak to a real person, they just kept giving me websites to go to. what number did you call?

hi guys! i have a few questions as i've searched the internet for the answers i need but you guys are always much more helpful.
so, me and my partner are in the process of a K1 visa, i had my medical examination on Sept 1st. everything went fine but the doctor said she needed a little more paperwork for an existing medical condition that i have, i sent that off a week later and emailed them confirming that they had received it and everything was ok, she said she would call me if anything else was needed and would send it to the embassy if not.. i haven't heard anything back from them so i'm assuming it has all been sent off.
it was only after having my medical that i filled in my online readiness form (i wasn't aware you could fill it in any sooner) so im now waiting to hear back about my interview date, the only problem is, my deadline (priority date) is the 8th Oct and im 99% sure my interview wont be before then... ive read that you have to get your sponser to write a letter confirming that hes still supporting the application? is it really that easy?? and if so, does it have to be a signed letter, or can it be an email from him?
Thanks in advance

So about an hour ago, my partner skyped me with tears in his eyes holding our I-797 ! we only sent off our I-129f 6 weeks ago and its already been approved!
i cant even explain how happy we both are, but now im in a panic because i have nothing else prepared! i was told this process was going to take a long time so now im a little overwhelmed. google just makes me more confused so ive decided to post on here as you guys helped me so much last time :]
So basicly my question is, what is best to focus on next?
my partner has a job but we're not sure that his wages meet the guidelines, but luckily his mum is going to co-sponser for us so do they both need to fill out the i-134 and send them to me?
plus, am i right in thinking i need to have a medical BEFORE my interview? and do i have to organise this myself?
thanks in advance for any help

Thank you so much

Hi guys! this is my first post on here, im a 23 year old girl currently living in Nottingham, UK and my fiancé is a citizen of Indiana, USA
we're in the process of filling out our I-129f and hopefully sending it off next week but there are still a few things confusing me.
Firstly, where do i have to post it too exactly? i thought it was the Texas lock box but i've since been told that applications vary depending on different states?
and also, how much is the fee? i cant seem to find a definite answer anywhere?
Thank you for any help you can provide, this is all so overwhelming
