Do we need make truecopy of photocopies of birth and marriage certificates?

or simple photocopy is okay!

It is there in DS 260 online form.

It is mentioned as ADD button.

If you did not mention it,just leave it.

when CO ask in interview mention that,I thought it would be alright.

If you call NVC now,it will delay your case.

So,it depends on you.

Went to Surat and had no vaccination record.

called on Wednesday after getting interview letter - they asked to come next day 8:00 AM. ( Thursday)

They filled form with BMB number, and pasted 2x2 photograph.

check height and weight, X-Ray and drew blood.

Three vaccines given MMR, Td, and Influenza.

Total cost INR 3250.00.

asked to come later in afternoon to pick up report. 1 copy of vaccination record for me, 1 stapled envelope for Mumbai with note on it not to open it, and 1 envelope with X-Ray disc for POE.

I see on my vaccination record, a name of Doctor, Apollo clinic stamp, Date, and checked mark on US vaccination requirement complete.

overall, very easy, reasonable and not to be stressed.

Notice that the DOS requires these documents to be notarized in China, i.e., a copy of a Notarial Certificate (AKA White Book) will have to be submitted to the DOS for acceptance. Present the original Notarial Certificate at the interview for comparison with the submitted photocopy of the Notarial Certificate.

I dont think NVC will accept letter of college as PCC

I was studying in China for 5years.

Now,since 4 year,I am in India.I have Indian PCC.

I inquire about PCC from China,But it is not possible now.

So,I called to college and they provide me "No criminal Record" on letter pad by email.

So,I can make photocopy of that certificate.

Is it alright for me to produce in embassy?

It seems like there is no place outside the embassy for the family to wait, they have to wait in the road. So we need to consider that as well.

Hi what if the IV fee was already PAID but change to IN PROCESS again.. what does it mean? By the way, AOS/IV docs was already submitted and also DS-260 was completed. Thanks.

May be it is a technical error.

Wait for NVC to complete your case.

It will take 30 days after submitting of documents.

When it's "Case Closed" the AOS fees will change from "paid" to N/A.

So we sent my AOS and IV Package to the NVC 3weeks ago, and we also completed the DS-260, but base from posts we should receive an ACCEPTANCE LETTER that the NVC got our package. I didn't get any what should we do? Does it mean our PACKAGE didn't reach NVC?

It means.they receive your AOS and IV documents to process.

Just wait to complete your case at NVC.

So I just tried calling NVC to inquire about our case and the automated message reported that NVC inquiries for immigrant visas are unavailabe from July 2nd (today at 3:30 pm) until 7:30am Monday July 6 because of technical difficulties in their system??

Anybody have an information on this? Because I thought the month-long technical problems were pretty much taken care of at the end of last week (that's what a supervisor told me on the phone). Is this a new wave of system issues or what?

Keep patience, no way.

We now horribly stucks at the NVC.

As per the most recent update posted on Travel.state.gov all the embassies and consulates have now been online and have started issuing visas and scheduling interviews but still many people are still unable to access the DS 260 form or pay bill IV fee and Those including me who have already paid Bill IV fee are still unable to see any status updates. So any one with any info that how long it will take them to full rectify that website error because I am now tired of waiting for so long :/

My mom's IR5 visa is scheduled for July 27th. But when I check CEAC site (https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx), it says the case is still with NVC. Other than the PDF file in the email, there is no other information/communication. Should we be concerned or it normal ?

NVC will sent your file to Mumbai embassy.

NVC has scheduled ur interview with Bombay embassy.

I paid the IV fee by mail on may since it wasn't showing up. Still says pay now eventho I have received an email and a letter on June 9th saying the payment has been received for my case. Just wondering if i should pay another fee to see if that goes thru for me to fill out the DS260 or still do the waiting game.Always getting frustrated on what steps to take to get the DS260 to pop ip
