  1. Hi,

I just looked at your timeline. It does not have the date of your NOA 2 (K-1 petition approval date)

    Congrats on your progress.

Did you have to schedule a certain date for the MEDICAL on-line ? I've read here:

    http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!medical-exam/c1el2

It seems to indicate you need to schedule in advance.

However here it says no appointment needed.

    http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

She scheduled her CFO for 25th.

It would be nice if you two could meet there at CFO an possibly talk before hand.

    Thanks

Oh yes. No date on NOA2 coz we didn't know we were already approve until we received our nvc letter. Up to this date uscis still says our case was received but w/ nvc, our case is already at Manila US Embassy. That would be lovely. Thinking about doing the cfo that same week. Did she got a morning or an afternoon session?

  2. ***** Moving from progress Report to K21 Process forum ****

Very unlikely that it will be straight out denied, even people currently in prison can get K1s.

Beneficiary should know all about petitioner's military career, and why/ how/when he was seperated, as she will be asked about ti at interview.

    Thanks! You're very helpful!

  3. Good morning every one! I need the advice of anyone who has been in the same situation. My mother and minor sibling will be applying for a B1/B2 visa (tourist visa) Tho I know they have to pay 2 separate visa fees, does my mother and sister have to have 2 separate accounts again to schedule the interview? Or can my mother just put my sister as an add-on to her visa interview appointment. Also, as my sister is a minor, does she still have to be with a different companion(such as me as a guardian) in the interview as we are planning that they be scheduled together, or can they be interviewed together? Thank you in advance! :D

  4. For Question #1, yes you can track other petitions using USCIS case tracker app in iPhone and Samsung.

Let me share my experience to all of you. Our NOA1 was dated Oct.20, and heard nothing from USCIS after a month while almost everybody on my timeline and filed later got approved. Of course, calling USCIS wasn't any help at all. But fiancé called again at 7 weeks of waiting and requested to speak with a Tier 2 agent, the agent then told him that our case is still within the 5 months processing time but was advised to call by last week of January if there isn't any update yet.... And then, fiancé checked his mailbox Dec.21 and received our NVC letter... Wait.. What? NVC letter but no NOA2 yet? Yes.... We got the hardcopy with our MCN, and upon tracking our USEM Manila got our case on Dec.16. And so we are confused, we called USCIS to verify and they said in their system we aren't approve yet. Of course, what the agent see's in their system is what we can see too. We then called NVC to verify, all our infos are correct, they said we are already approved that's why we have our Case Number..

  5. Been about 60 days now since NOA1 stamped. I check their website, all I can do, several times a day. Morning, evening. Night, early morning. I am unable to access such a site from my temp job during the day. I just keep checking and checking and praying for it to happen before my temp job ends (a fear I have every 3 months) until I can find a proper one.

Hi! Before, I have been waiting for any updates 60+ days after our NOA1. But guess what? After 60+ days and upon my fiancé checking his mailbox, he got the NVC letter. Our application was already sent to UsEm Manila without any e-mail or status change from USCIS case tracker that I-129f was already approved. Just keep your hopes up, but holidays are here so wait a little more. Or you can also maybe call USCIS and ask for a Tier 2 officer, they are a lot helpful than the first hand agents. Hope this helps.

  6. Case ready for NVC and USCIS are different stages

I assume your have been give a new case number when it reached NVC stage

if i open the USCIS site and checked my receipt case number it shows as yours does "case received"

and we are already together in US as visa was granted and now NVC site says "visa issued"

Stop worrying / this proces will turn your hair grey

Does your receipt number from USCIS and the one attached at NVC letter the same? Coz ours is still the same.

  7. Hello Visa Journey Friends:

Filed I-129F with first notice date of 11-9-15 and still no approval, I understand how batches are taken for review before approval. However,In my Visa Journey timeline it says:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 12, 2015 and December 15, 2015*. and I've also noticed many approvals through 11-17-15.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

I filed at the California service center. Rapid Visa was the agency that filed our I-129F Petition and told me our package was very nice and complete. Please answer any of the following questions if you have direct experience with any of them.

    • What do I say when I call USCIS?
    • Has anyone else called them and got an answer to why case status remains Case Received?
    • When they review your case does “My Case Status” at USCIS remain as Case Received or does it change to something else like under review? Does it mean my case hasn’t even been seen or touched yet?

Please only respond if you have direct experience with my situation.

Hi. To sum up my answer to your questions, let me share our experience. Our NOA1 was dated 10/20 so assuming that the estimated process with CSC is 35 days, we expected to hear something atleast towards the last week of November, but nada. No update from USCIS. So we called USCIS to ask why people who filed later than us are getting approved. The agent told the usual 5 months processing from USCIS. So it wasn't a help at all. Now, after almost 2 months of waiting, we called again and requested for a Tier 2 agent, the agent said that there has been lots of holidays so that's one of the reasons of the delay, but NEVER said anything about our case. The agent just advised my fiancé to call back if we haven't heard anything until the last week of January. He again asked if there are chances to know what's going on with our case, or what's causing the delay if we schedule a case inquiry in the field office, but the agent said it won't make any difference. And we will only know that our case has been touched if our case status says "Request for Additional Evidence was mailed" or either "I-129f is approved" other than that we don't know if someone is looking on our papers or just stuck on the desk.

    Goodluck to us!

  8. Almost 2months of waiting from NOA1. I know we are lucky enough to be routed at CSC. But what's taking this long? Others get approved in less than 5 weeks. They say case to case basis? I don't get what is wrong. No criminal records, never married. Benneficiary have been to the US twice and provided necessary infos. Petitioner just got naturalized (which means USCIS had already done a thorough back ground check)

    This is getting stressful :(

  9. I have actually been on a J1 twice, once in 2008/2009 and once in 2014/2015. But I do not have the two-year rule so i thought it wouldn't be a problem...I should have maybe sent a copy of my Ds Form which states that I am not subject to the two-year rule, maybe it would have sped things up

Oh boy. Might be the background checks that's taking it too long for us.

And I never sent anything too, like a copy of my visa and some DS form.

  10. We got exactly the same answer from the agent. They can't really tell what's exactly happening with our case. Our NOA1 date is Oct.20 and until now (49 days) still haven't heard anything. A lot says every application is different, others just get too lucky being approved in just a matter of 3 weeks. While others, like me, only God knows when we'll get approved. Hoping for something before the holidays tho.

  11. Any status on yours, angeliquerosario?

Anyone got an email, or a number I can speak to an actual human? I just like to get a status from a person.

    Thanks.

Nothing from USCIS yet since NOA1. My fiancé called USCIS hotline one time and asked why people who filed later than us are getting NOA2 and we're not. The agent answered their "basic" answer which we are still in the normal processing times (which is 5 months).

  12. Still no word on NOA2 :( I'll probably get a RFE since it is taking so "long" (compared to others at CSC hahaha)

but to my knowledge we filled everything out correctly, added proof that we have met in the past 2 years and thought we have a pretty easy case without previous marriages, no criminal records, etc...

    Hoping I get something today!!!!

Haven't heard anything from USCIS too. It's been 43 days from NOA1.

Makes me frustrated too. We tripled check everything, plus. I wonder why our cases take so long.

Are they for further review? Or just dumped on the table? We don't know.... Grrr.

All we can do is patient. Let's hope we hear some good news before the holidays...

Got the RFE notification yest 12/3. finally I heard something. My application is pretty simple as well but I think I know why. My itenarary did not show the year we met, and I did not add passport stamps so I am guessing that's the problem, though I added just about everything else including pics with the year on it.

It should be in my mailbox soon but not for sure what the RFE is.

Best wishes and i hope you get a reply soon. I know it's coming!

Hoping our cases will move as well. Best of luck!

  13. Hi guys,

It's great to see all the progress here :)

Anyone here who hasn't received NOA2 yet?

We got our NOA1 on Oct 19 and still havent heard anything :(

I am getting worried since there are so many people that filed later than us and already got approval....

    So frustrating....

I feel the exact same way. Our noa1 was 10/20 and nothing yet from USCIS. This waiting is driving me crazy.
