    Hey congrats.
    I'm good with military folks getting some fast break,
    since they are risking their lives and serving the country.
    I'm also happy for many expedited Filipinos,
    but this whole imbalanced CSC vs. TSC processing timeline thing
    and the extraordinary and exclusive expedited processing for Filipinos
    when there are other countries with harsh conditions...just doesn't seem fair to all.
    That said, keep away from those bullets, good luck in remainder of the processing,
    and have a safe discharge back to US.

    Stop him from getting a GC if you can. He has committed Visa Fraud.
    I am sorry for you, this is such a terrible story.
    Can you report him to the authorities so he get's deported? This is just too wrong.

    He cannot work until he gets authorization after marriage. This is K-1 process.

    Then what else? Be constructive and explain. Seems pretty simple. Interview if you want, let them know you are awaiting and still must apply for your work permit....if you're marketable and worht waiting for they will wait. What more is there than that? Really?

    You make good point. However, it is good to network too, maybe they have another job in 2 months time, then if they like him they will call him back? It's not bad to look and no-one can stop him. If anything, he can brush up on being interviewed. So maybe waste of time for employer but not for him.

    Why? He can interview but not work. Nothing wrong if they are prepared to wait for his approval.
