  1. I am very sympathetic for those assigned to TSC. I've signed petitions started by people here in order to assist. It's not like I've ever posted in threads of people waiting at TSC saying, hey guys have patience. I've never been non-understanding of the stress people are going through.

So, yeah, I do feel a slight bit attacked-whether you dropped my name or not, the community on this board is quite close knit, and as seen by April+David, those who have seen me post know my timeline.

I'm sorry you see it that way. If you feel aggrieved or attacked then report me to the mods. That is your recourse.

  2. I don't know why I'm getting the piss taken out of me?

Who is taking the "piss out" of you? You have your timeline on your page, I never mentioned you by name. We are all very happy for you too, we would love to breeze through in 90 days. Honestly, I wish you all the best. I have no axe to grind with you... the TSC on the other hand, well that's another kettle of fish.

  3. The problem is beyond the workers who answer the phone. It's the whole idea of the NVC stage, I'm not convinced that it's necessary. I respect the skills and talents of NVC workers, I'm sure they are beneficial in other places, but the NVC stage seems unnecessary here, I find it hard to justify, we've already gone through 5 months of background checks at USCIS, I don't get it.

Amen! If the USCIS could accept the extra few documents one sends with the petition, it could be a one-stop shop... but no, that is too easy.

  4. Not arguing, just my 2c. They are lucky to have jobs, if they don't want them they can leave and work somewhere else. Hell, I'd love to take over from one of them and REALLY CARE about each and every call. Every one of those calls are important. Behind every call is a scared and frightened couple waiting to be together legally. Behind every call is sacrifice, dedication and LOVE. The LEAST I would do is be polite to people calling me.

  5. I for one won't pretend to know their lives. I don't think they are just sitting around wasting everyone's time, I think they are overloaded and don't have enough people working there. The reps aren't the ones looking at our cases, they are sitting on the phone all day answering the same questions for hours on end. I can understand why they might get sick of that, but yeah of course I wish they could have a little compassion. I've even spoken to a few who seem to have some. It's crazy that most of them are so rude.

Rude employees = employees who don't care. Trust me on that. There is obviously a culture there of being as rude to people as possible and getting a sick thrill from it. That kind of attitude would sink a private company faster than the Titanic.

  6. I think that's how they feel. Annoyed and upset that anyone is calling. I'm sure they are under enormous amounts of stress and I understand getting tired of answering the same questions over and over and over. But still, a little compassion goes a long way and if you can no longer do your job without hating your life...maybe it's time to find a new job.

Compassion? At the NVC ???:rofl:

All they want to do is clock out and go home to their fiancés and spouses. Something we can't do.
