I just wanted to share the fantastic news with all of you! Today I opened-up my mailbox and got the notice for my AOS Interview on May 11th at 9:15am in Buffalo! I was shocked, nearly had a heart attack (lol) and cried my eyes out! Everything has gone soooo quickly and I am so thankful for that, but now I have to get my butt in gear and gather all of our evidence and documents for the interview. YEAH!!!!!!!!

I am also dealing with MSC, but for some reason (which I am VERY thankful for) I received my Biometrics appt. letter 5 days after I received my first NOA1. Hang in there, I am sure that you will get yours soon!

I had the same sort of question. We filed my AOS at the beginning of the month, I am from Canada, but am now here in the U.S. with my hubby. We got our NOA1, but it also seems as though our case is at the MSC, which I was a little surprised about because I thought that it would have been at the Vermont Service Center??

Hi All,

Recently we filed for my AOS and since we live in Western New York we assumed and were told that we would be dealing with the Vermont Service Center. When I received all of my receipt notices, they seem to indicate that we are dealing with the MSC and my application number also begins with these 3 letters?! Is this the service center that will be dealing with our entire AOS? If so, I cannot seem to find processing dates for this center. Sorry about the confusion but if someone understands what I am trying to say and could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

As an update, I just tried plucking in my receipt number into the USCIS website today and it worked....woohoo!!!!

Thank you for everyone's quick responses and good wishes!! I'll keep plucking in my receipt number and hoping that one day soon, it does "exist" on the uscis website. Thanks again!!!
