  1. Thanks so much!! TwoChickies thanks for the links! I've actually already read and reread them! I think I've been pretty thorough and that was the only thing that I didn't really know about.

My hubbie is lying right next to me now and he thanks all of you for your kind and encouraging words! He's soooo nervous and can hardly believe this is finally happening, but right now he looked at me and said "our dreams are about to finally come true, aren't they?" and it made me so happy!

    Thanks again everybody! (L)(L)(L)

  2. Hi everyone! So glad everything is working out for so many people!!

I have a question and maybe someone'll know the answer? My NOA2 was supposedly sent to me here in Nicaragua but got lost in the mail. After talking with the NVC we figured everything out and they said it didn't matter that I didn't have the official hard copy. Could I potentially need that for the interview??

    (I can't believe it's the day-after-tomorrow!! I hardly slept last night!!)

  4. Hi everyone! It´s so nice to finally have gotten the time to make an account here and hopefully eveything I´ll be posting will be good news and help for others! I feel kind of within a family on this forum because no one else around us really knows what we´ve been going through to get this visa!

Bit of info about us: I´m Hannah, 22, the US citizen. My husband is Onel, 20, Nicaraguan about to get his green card! I know! We´re so young!

Onel and I met in 2010, got married in June of 2013, and started the visa process November of that same year.

Boy it´s felt like this process has taken forever! But we´re finally at the exciting part! Our interview with the embassy is on Tuesday!!!! Ahhhh!!!

I´ve spent so much time gathering all of the information we´ve sent, making copies, organizing, labeling, revising and rerevising, and fretting! So much fretting! There are still a few things left to do but I think/hope that I´ve pretty much got it under control.

I will be posting about our interview experence in the next week! Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly! Meanwhile if anyone has questions or comments or supportive words I would love to hear them all!

Good luck to each of you!
