  1. I'am sorry to inform you that if your case is not completed within the 60 standard days, you have the right to ask for a supervisor review. Many others have gone through this and after placing their case under supervisor review, the case is complete in no more than 2 weeks. Depending on the type of visa, you can also get your state representative or senator involved. There is nothing in life you have to "deal with" when you have the rights to have your documents reviewed in 60 days or less. Every case is different, and all cases are reviewed differently as well. But if NVC is holding your case they have the right to inform you the reason why and the correct thing to do in order to get your case completed.

Thank you very much for this positive response to that reply! :-)

  2. Many cases are being completed in as little as 30 days or less!!..Have you checked the CEAC website for 3 N/A's..

I welcome you to this amazing topic regarding scan dates, case completes, and interviews thread. We have over 300+ people on our spread sheet. Not only do we inform one another with helpful tips and advice, but we also support and encourage one another during this stressful process.

Above is the link for the tread.

    This is the CEAC website.

    Good luck with your journey.

    Thank-you :)

We check daily for 3 N/As, as well as checking spreadsheets of case-completes/scan dates -- almost every hour or so, if I'm honest!

BaronB, we go through enough waiting without our spouses, getting handled by angry people working in the NVC - I do not expect to come onto a forum of, primarily, support to be greeted with bitterness from you. Deal with that, thank you.

  3. Hello!

For the past month, my wife and I have been calling the NVC periodically in hopes for good news regarding our case.

Before receiving our checklist, we were being told that processing times were at 60 days, and to expect to hear something 60 days after our scan date.

After sending in our second package with the amendments they'd asked for in regards to our checklist, we were being told 45 days from our new scan date (March 26th) -- however yesterday, I called and I was told that we should hear something 30 days after March 26th. But 30 days was Sunday -- so surely yesterday we should have heard?

I asked about what we should do once that 30 days was up (I've heard of supervisor reviews, though I'm not 100% sure what that entails), and all I was told was that, "Well then, your case will be complete!"

I said, "It's been 30 days as of yesterday" -- and he said, "Okay, will that be all then? I hope you have a wonderful evening, thank you very much for calling ma'am!" and hung up.

    So what does this mean?

I didn't want to call again because I'm in England, and being on hold for an hour at a time gets very expensive - especially if I'm not going to receive very helpful information at the end of it LOL!

    What are your thoughts?
    What should we do?
