    Hi guys! I did not get an email or a text but I checked my uscis account this morning and found my interview notice with today’s date on it!

    Applied: September 8th, 2020

    Biometrics reuse letter: February 17th, 2021

    Interview letter: June 7th, 2021

    Interview: July 12th, 2021

    I applied in NYC but moved to California on January 1st, 2021. Filed the address change and apparently it went through because they scheduled me in Los Angeles. Good luck to everybody!

    I applied September 8th and finally got my Biometrics reuse letter today! Did not get any notifications but I found it in the Documents tab in my online account. I applied in NYC and moved to Los Angeles at the end of the year and changed my address on January 1st 2021, I got a change of address confirmation from USCIS January 19th and I even called to make sure they had the new address. As expected, my biometrics reuse letter has my old NYC address! I’ll have to call them and try to get this corrected, just hoping the address change won’t delay my application too much. Anybody else dealing with address change?

    Hi Daneisy,

    I was approved on Feb 5th and I only received the card in the mail last Friday (Feb 23rd), my status online only changed last night Feb 26th! I received text messages and an email from USCIS informing me they already mailed and delivered the card. I am sure your card is on its way, be patient! I was also very frustrated when it took so long but keep calm, it eventually will come! If you have informed delivery check the package section as it will not show as a regular letter. Good luck!

    Hi guys! I finally received my green card this morning! Approval date 2/5, letter received 2/8, card delivered 2/23. The status never changed online and the letter didn't show on informed delivery so it was a great surprise, something to keep in mind for you who have been approved and start getting anxious because it can seem that nothing is happening after. Good  luck to all the rest still waiting, you are next!

    Thanks for the positive thoughts Shell!!! I did a search to see how long others had to wait and first thing I found is a case of a filer who got an approval letter only to get an interview notice 3 weeks later, so I stopped searching right there! haha I am not going to celebrate until I have the GC in my hands! I do have informed delivery and every morning I wake up and check if something is coming from them but nothing so far, letter says it can take up to 60 days so the waiting game continues! :)

    Hi @zyxjl143 ! Congrats on your approval! Yes, that is normal, my letter only says the first initial of my first name and then my full last name, nothing to worry about.

     

    My letter was delivered 2/8 and decision was made 2/5 and I still haven't heard or received anything! Can any of the others who received their letter confirm if they had similar wait times? I am trying to stay positive here but this seems to be the never ending story... good luck to everyone still waiting!

    Hi guys!!! I’m happy to let you know I finally received my approval letter today after a year and 2 days of waiting (i751 NOA dated 02/06/2017). 

     

    Decision was made on 2/5, letter mailed on 2/6 and it was delivered today 2/8. No RFE or interview. Letter was signed by New York’s Federal Plaza center director so it did not come straight from Vermont. Best of luck to all of you still waiting!

    Congrats froglet! It is encouraging to see all these approvals coming in, I applied end of January 2017 and it will be a year since I received my NOA this coming Tuesday, I see that you applied end of February so it took less than 12 months for you, I'm hoping to hear something in the following weeks! Why do you guys think some people who applied later hear before others who applied earlier? Is it a background check issue most of the time? What a nerve wracking process... every time I get a USPS informed delivery email I get so nervous haha. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!

    I completed my biometrics yesterday in Manhattan, the whole thing took about 30 minutes. Even though my notice said no cellphones are allowed they told me to turn my phone off! I left it at home because I didn't want to risk it but it seems like they allow them as long as they are powered off. After taking my fingerprints and picture they just told me: You'll be notified via mail, goodbye! Now the waiting begins... good luck everyone!

    Hi guys! I sent my i751 package on February 2nd, next day USPS. Package was received on the 3rd. I received my NOA on the 11th (With a date of February 9th). I sent my package to the VT service center and I still have not received an appointment for biometrics so I called USCIS today and they told me they cannot to anything until 30 days have passed since the date of the NOA and that I should keep waiting for the biometrics appointment notice. Will keep you posted, good luck everyone!

    Hi guys, Just wanted to give you an update. I traveled using my AP card last week and had no problems at all getting into the US. They didn't ask me anything regarding the marriage or why I even had the AP card, they just sent me to secondary inspection and after waiting for about 10 minutes they let me go.

    On a different note, we had our interview this morning! We were called 5 mins after the time we were supposed to be there so we didn't wait at all. We were interviewed by a very nice lady and she made us feel comfortable from the very beginning, she was making jokes and all smiles. This really relaxed me. She checked our IDs first and then she went through our information to make sure it was accurate, she asked each one what our name, address and phone number was. She asked me when I had left the country for the last time and after that she proceeded with all the terrorism/criminal questions (she said: don't take it personal! and laughed), after that she asked if we had any documents to show her so I gave her copies of joint bank account statements, conEd statements, TimeWarner statements, medical insurance (my spouse added me through work) and a copy of our tax refund together.

    After that she said, ok here comes the fun part let's see some photos! We had an album with about 150 pictures from the time we met till last weekend haha so she went through the photos and asked if we had traveled somewhere together, we said not yet because we are waiting for the green card so we can go to Europe together and she said oh how nice! She barely looked at the photos, I was kind of disappointed because I put so much effort in putting the album together and she was barely looking at them since she was asking us casual questions and looking at us while she was going through the album. She didn't even get to see all of the photos, she stopped halfway I think! haha maybe we brought too many.

    She asked if we wanted to have children so we said no and she made a joke about it. After that she said, ok everything looks good I still have to do a final review and you will receive a decision in the mail in the next few weeks. Thanks to this forum I knew this is standard practice and did not freak out so we just said ok thanks very much! She asked if we had any questions for her, we said no and then she said ok well have a great day and send me some photos of your trip to Europe! I was shocked that we weren't asked any personal questions (what side of the bed you sleep on, toothbrush, etc).

    As we were leaving the building I got a text message saying case updated to Card in Production!! We are so happy! It was so easy, fast and pleasant. Good luck to everyone and just be calm, bring lots of photos and joint statements and you will be fine! Thanks for all your help guys! :)

    Hi guys!! Received my EAD combo card in the mail on Monday and I am going home (Mexico) in a couple weeks to see my family. I received an email this morning at 9 am and my interview has finally been scheduled!!! It will be on April 28th!!! I am adjusting from TN visa and filed on November 20th. My local office is New York, NY. Good luck everybody else!! Hope you get scheduled soon too!

    So my EAD has been pending for over 105 days, I called at the end of February to open an inquiry and they said to call back in 10 days if I didn't get an answer. I called today and they said there's nothing else they can do until 30 days have passed since the inquiry was opened. Is this true? I thought that after 90 days you are entitled to an EAD automatically. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

    I filed for marriage based AOS on November 20th, biometrics appointment was on December 19th and on December 24th my I-485 status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". There have not been any changes since then! I called last week to ask about my EAD since it has been more than 90 days and they opened a service request but no news so far. I am in New York City, it seems like there are a lot of delays in this area. Anybody else on a similar situation? We are starting to get a bit anxious!
