Just had my oath ceremony in Lawrence Kansas today. I was naturalized along with 245 people from 56 different countries in the Lied Center on KU campus. Thank you everyone on this website who has helped through this journey and good luck to everyone still waiting!

quickquestion123 got a reaction from TBoneTX in New York Airport Advice Needed
I live in KC, and flying from JFK to MCI is a constant problem. Clearing customs in JFK can take anywhere from 40 mins to a couple of hours, but they are usually pretty nice to let people who have a short connection to get through. Still, I try to allow at least a three hour connection to make it through. I would suggest looking at a flights from La Guardia. The transfer takes only about 40 mins, and they have way more and better options to the MCI airport. Also try to look into doing a connecting flight. I don't know what your airline is, I usually fly with Delta, but connecting through Atlanta (as in JFK, ATL then MCI) might be a good idea, as they have many flights going from ATL to MCI. Also look into Detroit and Minneapolis. I am sorry for your loss. Let me know if you have any questions, I have been flying into MCI for over 10 years now, and know almost every connection you can make
