Hello Everyone... We applied for Citizenship and are waiting for the interview. We have a new address now, since we filed the application. How do we go about changing our address so that all future N400 communication will be sent to your new address? (Please see my timeline/signature for history of our case.) Thanks for your input! Regards...

From the VJ guidelines, all applicants must submit 2 identical photographs. I've gone through the USCIS online application of N-400; there is not place nor mention of the 2 identical photographs. Question to those who filed N-400 online: Did you attach the photographs? What happened if you did/didn't? Thanks...

She can apply for citizenship 90 days before the 3 year anniversary of the date on her greencard. When was the conditional one approved? ETA, looking at the time line in your signature, she'll be eligible to file around mid Jan 2019.
File mid-Jan even though we're still waiting for the 10-yr GC? Thanks...

Hi everyone... My wife arrived US 8/29/2015 on a K-1 Visa, and has remained in the US since then (no trips outside of the US). We submitted her I-751 package in March 2018 and are now waiting for the 10-yr Green Card (taking 18 months now). Now is Sept 2018; she has been in the US for more than 3 years. Our questions are:
1. Should we and may we submit the application for Citizenship now? Or should we and do we have to wait until after she receive her 10-yr Green Card?
2. Is it required that you must have the 10-yr Green Card in hand when you submit the Citizenship application?
Thank you very much for your comments/feedback! Regards...

The questions 23/26/28 apply for the period of time that he is in the US only, not the events that took place in VN. Answer NO the those 3 questions.

Also, make sure she demands to get the DS3025 from the physicians. If she doesn't demand it, they won't issue one; then when she gets here, you will have to get an I693 costing you additional time and money when you get to applying for her AOS.

Wait until you receive the package from them in VN. Then go online to pay fees and schedule dates. For now, use the HCM# to create the online account (that you will use to pay fees and schedule dates with them later). Good luck... You're almost there... and congrats on the good progress...

They need biometrics at every step in order to make sure that it's the same person they're working with. If no finger prints, then you suppose anyone can do anything for anybody; they need to be sure that you're the same person throughout every step.

DMV can use data from Social Security. Does she have an SSN yet? If she does, then just give the SSN to DMV and they can get the info from there.
-
Oh... He can take the Green Card to DOL and get his ID; then take the temporary copy to SSN office if you don't want to wait until DOL mails the ID home.
-
Yes, all that, and State ID + birth certificate too.

After interview, status updated to "Approved", then a few days later to "Post Office picked up your card", and finally "PO delivered your card". You should sign up for text/email alerts from the site.

The sample form provided in the process/guide is the old 2015 form. Would it be possible to upload a sample with the new 2017 form? That would be greatly appreciated by everyone, I'm sure! Many Thanks...

AOS interview went great! We were approved for Green Card... Card should be arriving within 30 days... Not too bad an experience, and rather straight forward... GL to everyone in your journey and the rest of the way...

Received text and email this morning for AOS interview being scheduled and that NOA to follow in the mail. Anyone local in the Seattle area that can give me some pointers/advises for this interview; I'd appreciate that very much! Thanks and GL to all of us...

Visit a local USCIS office... they may be able to help you out with the history.

Hey... I'll help you out if you need some help! I completed the whole K1 process with no RFE's. My fee would be... a glass of cafe sua da at Thanh Thanh... I wouldn't pay anyone to help with the package; I think that's just a rip-off! This forum took me all the way through the process... nice and easy, with a lot of patience... but we're now in the final AOS stages, with EAD and AP already approved...

Wife passed the N400 interview, got sworn in immediately afterward, certificate issued; all in all took 2 hours. Looks like we completed our Visa Journey in 6 years, since the initial submission of the Fiance petition. Everything went smoothly; no hickup and RFEs, etc.
Best of luck to the rest of you guys who are enduring and who are about to start this journey! Can't say how much help this VJ site/group has been in our journey... Great job and kudos to all the members... I will continue to check in, to see if I can offer my own help back to the community with our experience... Take care everyone...
