  1. Firstly, I read on a site something about the NVC office having to send my husband (Hes the beneficiary) something in the mail. Is this information correct?

If so, here is our dilemma.

My husband is from Bangladesh but was living in Malaysia studying. He's currently back in Bangladesh though because his mother is sick. He will probably be there for a few months.

So seeing as how he may not be back in time to get mail sent to Malaysia, should I contact the office?

  2. Can anyone explain this?

It has 'legible' copy of marriage cert underlined. I already sent in a copy of our marriage cert (english Translation), though the copy was in black and white.

but also in another place it mentions sending the foreign language PLUS English translation? I only sent in an English version.

I pretty much just need to know exactly what to send in. Should I send another copy and a copy with foreign language? Plus provide proof that it was registered or what?

I just want to make sure to get the right things.post-202247-0-44081700-1437433024_thumb.jpg

  3. Please forgive my ignorance :S I'm new to all this visa stuff!

    1. I want to bring my fiance here to the USA. In a few months though, I will be traveling to visit him(in Malaysia).

So, my question is, which would be the best route to go? Marry there and try to get the spouse visa, or just visit him and bring him here as fiance, after I return?

    2. I was reading about a visa(I think the CR-1) it said the NVC would transer to the Consulate in his home country. He's currently not living in his home country, he is studying in another country. Would he NEED to travel back to his home country, or is it possible for him to go to consulate at current location.

If anyone could help answers these questions, Id sooooo appreciate it. (F)
