for 'go-fast' mode at VJ at NVC, there's ain't no postal processing done with NVC.
Sorry, I don't understand. Do you mean, they don't send need to send the beneficiary anything in the postal mail?
-
Firstly, I read on a site something about the NVC office having to send my husband (Hes the beneficiary) something in the mail. Is this information correct?
If so, here is our dilemma.
My husband is from Bangladesh but was living in Malaysia studying. He's currently back in Bangladesh though because his mother is sick. He will probably be there for a few months.
So seeing as how he may not be back in time to get mail sent to Malaysia, should I contact the office?

Hi,
My husband and I recently recieved a RFE to send in 1 more document. It didn't include an envelope or any details about mailing the document.
Does anyone know what else(if anything) I need to write on the envelope besides addresses?

Our marriage certificate is in English only and no other language.
I called the USCIS today but they were no help haha.
We will just get proof that it was registered and send another copy of our marriage certificate just to be safe. Hopefully that will be enough.
-
Can anyone explain this?
It has 'legible' copy of marriage cert underlined. I already sent in a copy of our marriage cert (english Translation), though the copy was in black and white.
but also in another place it mentions sending the foreign language PLUS English translation? I only sent in an English version.
I pretty much just need to know exactly what to send in. Should I send another copy and a copy with foreign language? Plus provide proof that it was registered or what?

Does anyone know a website that lists what all my foreign spouse will need? (Copies/documents?) ATM We are on the very first step and trying to get everything ready to send.
I'm trying to compile a list of everything he needs. He speaks English but it's a little rusty, so I'm trying to help him out as much as possible and I don't wanna miss anything.
Thanks

Is a ielts required for a Cr1 visa? I think its just required for school but i want to make sure.

Thank you for the replies
No I understand that I can't bring him back with me (
darn it!). We are just trying to decide whether to marry when I'm there, then I return back here, we try for a spouse visa or not marry and try for the fiance visa
Wasn't sure if one route is better though.

Please forgive my ignorance :S I'm new to all this visa stuff!
1. I want to bring my fiance here to the USA. In a few months though, I will be traveling to visit him(in Malaysia).
So, my question is, which would be the best route to go? Marry there and try to get the spouse visa, or just visit him and bring him here as fiance, after I return?
2. I was reading about a visa(I think the CR-1) it said the NVC would transer to the Consulate in his home country. He's currently not living in his home country, he is studying in another country. Would he NEED to travel back to his home country, or is it possible for him to go to consulate at current location.
If anyone could help answers these questions, Id sooooo appreciate it.

My sister has agreed to be a co-sponsor for my spouse.
She would like to know her responsibilities as a co-sponsor. Can anyone tell me or provide a link that I can share with her?
