  1. I love my wife, trying secure a comfortable future for her so she will not be stressed or have hardships when she is older...I won't ever retire now ha ha but that was the choice I made, if it wasn't for her i'd just be blowing cash trying to live a jimmy buffett lifestyle which ain't bad, but my life with her is an extremely fulfilling, purposefull happy life.. just a different path,I had reached a point where I almost gave up having the life I have now with her. I got the perfect person for me.

  2. I do have insurance but most isurance only pays 80% and there is always someone in the medical billing who forgets to file in a timely filing, it doesn't take much time in the icu to run up 300,000 bill or more leaving 60,000 or more left to pay hopefully, but I am not optimistic due to future cuts in medicaid as a supplemental insurance, .. no I have 0 medical debt or condition, I am much older than my wife so just trying to do the best I can to plan for the future

  3. I guess eventually I will meet with an attorney to see the best route, I am thinking she will return to family in native home, my 401k and other things like sold home etc would provide a much better lifestyle there than here. I doubt creditors are calling a foreign country..and I think she would have some time to leave before it ever reached legal stage I don't know if they could eventually freeze my 401k/ ssi benefits..hopefully I will be treated at a foreign hospital eventually plan on working just part time and living out of the country, I don't want my wife to struggle with medical bills or have a major negative financial impact ..it's something that doesn't happen in other countries

  4. No,we didn't know about ds3025 form, she didn't receive any documentation for herself, I have kept researching on VJ, my main concern is her status if we send in and get a RFE, I have seen on older posts the only requirement for k-1 is marriage within 90 days, I know others have filed after the 90 day limit, but still concerned. She had her medical done in January of this year. We will probably talk to the civil surgeon ask for additional documentation and get the other vaccinations wait on mmr.

But still would like answer on her status, if we file within 90 days and RFE for lack of all vaccines

  5. I am about to submit my wife's aos. She did her medical in Juarez,MX for K-1,she only received the sealed envelope that was given to the consulate officer. I know Mexico does a good job with immunization, she finished university last year so I know she had to have them to attend school.

Do we still need to file the medical form with aos? I know they should have a copy in her original file, if we are RFE and we file within the 90 day time period, ( we are married), how will it affect her status?

The main concern is the MMR and the possibility of her being pregnant, should we only get other shots needed and submit a letter with our concerns with medical?

  6. 1) fiancees letter of intent and on all forms, does her signature need to be her full name, for example (she is mexican) Alejandra Selma juarez Chavez or just put on her fiance form "on all forms my name will be listed as Alejandra Selma Juarez" and does she sign her full name on all forms or just alejandra selma juarez?

    2) g-325 all other names used does that include listing her full name or put NONE?

Applicants employment put none or list unemployed and list dates?

    3) I -134 do i list my pension / 401k as well as my D&d policy amounts or not worry since my income is more than adequate

Thanks trying to finish everything for submission end of Feb/ beginning of March

  7. Thanks, for the input. We want to the ceremony there, so her family can attend, also the cost for what we are getting is better than in the states,( plus a beach wedding), we are renting a private villa for the ceremony. We really do not want to be apart anymore than we have to, especially if we are legally married. I was trying to time everything, with her finishing up school, hopefully everything will go somewhat smoothly. I found a family friend that has a lot of experience with visas, so I will start this week getting everything together and let him review everything before I send it. I will post any other info I have from him to help others out.

  8. My fiancee is in Mexico finishing school, she finishes in September, we are planning a ceremony for march 2016 in mexico, then do the legal marriage her in the US.

From my researching the boards I realize Juarez is one of the busiest processing centers so should I start now then be able possibly schedule an interview, ( after she graduates in september would be Ideal),

or wait until say april, may or june to start the process. One of my concern is what I have read is the amount of visas processed by Juarez and if my petition I-129F expires before being processed

"The I-129F petition is valid for four months from the date of approval by USCIS. A consular officer can extend the validity of the petition if it expires before visa processing is completed." how much trouble/ how hard is it to get this extended?

    Thanks
