    Hello everyone!

I just got in the mail a letter from USCIS... notice type: transfer notice. “We have completed a preliminary review of your case. We transferred your case to the following office so an interview for your case can be scheduled”.

Is this a sure bet I’ll be getting an interview or can  they still approve it after a few days?

This look like a confirm Interview.. did You do your biometrics ?

You can provide the various pieces of information on your VJ Timeline from this page: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/

You can subscribe to the alerts from this page: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/subcriptions.php

YMMV with the accuracy of the timeline estimates they give you, for example mine have ranged from September, to November to now being told it's overdue.

For some reason it doesn’t show my estimate approval. Lol

I believe the system  refresh and syncs with the servers in certain times a day  including weekends! So the decisions are made and updated to the server but not the website , so when the website updates (sync) with the server we get the updates!

Yes! This makes a lot of sense. I see you have taken your biometrics on July 17th. Mine was a day after .we should receive some good news this coming week

Hi, I am a CSC filer with case starting with WAC.

    my timeline

july 20 2018 sent the file

july 28 received extension for 18 months

    March 10  2018 biometrics reused

july 7 2018 biometrics appointed notice

    july 15 biometrics appointment

july 17- fingerprint review is completed .

now still waiting. Any one had a similar timeline and how long do we have to wait after they did the fingerprint the second time?

I’m waiting too after my biometrics was completed on 18th .

  5. All family based AOS submissions are sent to the NBC(National Benefits Center), which is in Missouri. They will have case numbers starting with MSC.

If your case gets routed to your local USCIS office for you to interview, then it will most likely be at the same location as you had your biometrics. Otherwise, it will be approved without interview. The NBC does not provide processing times for family based AOS.

Find your local office by state and county here > https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

Thank you ! My local office is Reno and they are deciding cases filed on or before 18 Dec 2013 . thats really harsh. I called the customer services and they quoted the same thing from uscis.gov . So it means there is nothing much we can do about it.... Only wait. Lol

We are also in the same boat, we do not know what office is processing our paperwork.

We are in Los Angeles County so more than likely it is the local office, they are currently processing August 2015 and we filed December.

Our local office is way behind . They are dealing with cases submitted on or before 18th Dec 2013 .Lol

  6. Hi again Kali2015

I noticed from your timeline their is a Pakistani flag showing with the American one, (the timeline shows the London embassy) I read there is an name check policy in the immigration process that applicants from certain countries, or with certain names, apparently Muslim or Latino, or certain professions, (sensitive or military), or have traveled to certain countries in the last 5 years are subject to more security checks than some other applicants. Are you sure you are not in AP for any one of these reasons, there must be a way of finding out if you are in AP.

Hello, its nice to hear from you. That's very informative. First of all Congrats on your approval and getting your green card.

Yes you spot on! I am a Pakistani citizen ,been living in London for almost 8 years thats how i applied for k1 from London. (I love London :) )

And about AP , i don't know any thing about it because i haven't received any communication from USCIS accept Work Authorization Card. I applied for AOS in Oct and received a letter from USCIS that they accepted the fees for AOS and N.B.C is working on your case. bla bla bla . but its been 6 months now since i haven't got any other letter from USCIS. Hopefully things get change :)

  7. If you are processed without interview, then your file would stay at the NBC and be approved from there. If you are going to get an interview, then the Reno USCIS office will send you an interview notice.

Note that lately the USCIS seems to be dealing with the backlog of interview waiver cases by sending them to other local offices that are not necessarily in your jurisdiction, such as San Fransisco and Tampa.

Thanks for your kind response. But i don't even know where my file is ? How to find this out that which office has received my file. Reno office shows that they are dealing with or before 18th Dec 2013 :(

  8. We didn't actually :/. But we just received a response to our inquiry. We should be getting our NOA 2 within the next 60 days :) They didn't explain what was the issue or what happened, just that is is currently with an adjudicating officer. Im guessing with will take all sixty days, judging by how long its taken us to get this far, but we are glad to hear we hadn't fallen through the cracks. Thanks for the good wishes :)

Oh that's really a good news. Hopefully you guys will get NOA 2 inside 30 days :) . once you get NOA 2 then the remaining process is way too quick . Mine whole process from beginning to end took around 80 days. I hope and they should speedup your case from here on. Happy for you. God Bless :)

  9. Our posted processing date has come and passed, so I submitted a case inquiry a couple weeks ago as still have not heard anything. :( Hope everyone else is doing good and not having any problems. Anyone had any experience with a case inquiry? I can't find any information on what they will tell us or how long it may take to get back to us.

I am so sorry you are going this hard time . I pray and hope your case get resolve soon . Did you think to involve congress man, that might be helpful.
