  1. Hi Everyone just wanted to let you guys know my wife had her interview this morning in cuidad juarez at 8:15am. We have been @ cuidad juarez since Friday and we got approved!!!! Its the best feeling in the world to see her walk out of her appointment with a huge smile. Finally we can start our lives in the same house. Thank you everyone for all the help with this process.. Sending good vibes to all of you guys that soon you will be reunited with your loved ones.

Congrats! I wish you the best!

I am sorry, I can not help it. I am LMAO.

I can not explain the meaning of that slang, those are American dirty or curse words we can not spell out here because of TOS Rules. If you give me your email, I will explain it to you.

They have nothing to do with visa lingo.

We are just a bunch of crazy adults having fun while we wait for our cases.

Hahahahah.....well said Frank. I was wondering how you would respond to that

  3. LoveinGhana. I see you sis. I remember you from last year on the K1 side. You've always been patient and encouraging. I pray you get an interview date soon

Awww thank you for your sweet words. We have been going through the immigration process now since July 2014. We hang on because we know it's not much longer now. I am getting a little excited knowing that in a few months I will see my husband!! :)

  4. HALLELUJAH!!! 42 days and 3 checklists after when I should've gotten a case complete, I FINALLY HAVE CASE COMPLETE!!!! :dancing::dance:

Thank you everyone for all your support and encouragement! This VJ is an amazing community.

A BIG thank you to MrsAzzi for telling me which supervisor helped her....she knew her stuff and helped complete my case too!

An especially HUGE thank you to LoveinGhana! we've come a looooong way my friend! along that way we have had many therapy sessions via phone and text message. I couldn't have gotten through all of the NVC without you. We will get through this next part too!

There are so many people who PM'd me with their support amongst other things but i'm besides myself with joy right now that I can't think straight, but a big thank you to all of you!!! (L)

    VIRTUAL DRINKS FOR EVERYONE!!! :jest:

dwheels76 - I know you got a lot going on right now with a sick husband, travel and the interview but when you get a chance please add me to your spreadsheet and tell me those words I've been waiting 2 months to hear!!! :) All the best on your hubby's interview!

My sweet friend....yes we have come along way and I couldn't get through this process without you either!!! Therapy sessions are always great because we end up laughing by the end of the conversation!! This 100% calls for celebration and the largest margarita we can get!!! Wooohooo. happy dance!!

  5. My husband had his interview and got ap. The man told him to send in the info we need so it's not sent back. Apparently when I put my marraige info on old facebook I don't use, I messed up the year. I thought I put 2015 but I had only changed the month and date. Now they want proof I'm not married to someone else. #######... im legally divorced to my ex since 2014. Plus I sent my divorce papers and that facebook was abandoned in 2014. I feel fustrated, now they want financial records from my ex husband? I guess I need to send my apartment lease, maybe his mortgage to show I'm not on it. Idk...

I am so sorry you have to wait just a little longer. Send what is needed and you will have the approval. I wish you the best.

  6. Oh No !!!! Farrah, dont worry, Just send across all that has been requested in good time. I am sure it will all be well. Just seem a little trivial, given that you already submitted legal dissolution of previous marriage. Did they go solely with what they saw on facebook?, Did they even look up your facebook? Seems trivial to me.

I am equally a divorcee and these just makes me ponder. I guess you just never know what cards they gonna turn on you at the interview.

Staty strong sis, It will be over before you know it. :)

Very thoughtful and encouraging words from you...

  7. Hi everyone. So I just called NVC about an interview date because I couldn't take waiting anymore and I'm kind of ? disappointed. So the girl I spoke to, Serena told me my husband's case in London is awaiting an interview still which I kind of expected but when I asked further she said they schedule at the beginning of every month so maybe I can hear something in early May but maybe not even though my cc was April 13th, I may not make the June appointments according to what she said...the thought of it being July is just so :(((((

Hang in there....we have been waiting almost 2 months for an interview date. I hope you hear something very soon and your interview date scheduled.

He will go pick up his police report next week when he picks up his medical results. He has to go back on the 18th for the last two vaccinations. But your last two vaccinations are a day before your interview... How will the Embassy know you received them if they aren't on the medical record?

The clinic should give you a sheet that has your shots listed on it. Take that to the interview with you.

  9. We are APPROVED!!!!!! My husband just called me, he finished his interview not even 30 minutes ago.

At first he called me sounding down and I'm like "What's wrong"?? Then he goes, "I don't think you're ready for what she (the officer) told me". I'm like what did she say??!!! Then he goes, "She said I should go meet my wife in a months time"!

I'm telling you, it was just God! He was only asked 2 questions:

When did you meet your wife?

    How old is she?

Then she said he was approved. He said she didn't ask for a single document that he carried, not even the tax documents for 2015. She was just flipping through the documents we sent at USCIS and NVC stage and she told him that she liked our wedding cake (which was made by my husband's sister).

Visajourney and particularly this thread has prepared us beyond measure! We weren't prepared as well in 2014 as we were this time around.

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that prayed and encouraged us. This feels like family here. Dwheels I just want to say a special thank you to you, you're a blessing to many on here and a gem. Less than 6 days to go for you and hubby! :dancing: Without a doubt I know yours will go well!

I plan to post a review by later today once I get the details from him.

I am so happy for you. Congrats!!
