The consensus seems to be that it is only for children who are filing for adjustment in conjunction with you, so should be fine. Did you include any other mention of your newborn (congrats btw)? There's not really any one type of evidence you have to include, so don't worry about it for now. Worst case they'll ask you for more information.

When was the last time you talked to NVC? Jamaica CC's of 4/20 and 4/17 just got August dates so you should have got yours last week. I would be calling tomorrow for sure.
