So we got our agent of choice yesterday on the phone... This evening I got an email with the IV bill. Checked on line and we are able to pay it now... Please don't wait any long period of time. Have them review on the phone so that you can move along
-
For those waiting for review of agent, please call the NVC. It doesn't take two mins once you're connected to someone. They said I'll receive an email in a few days to pay the IV fee
-
I have an issue. We paid AOS last Tuesday. Thursday it said paid. A while ago I Checked and it changed back to NOT PAID. Any reasons why?

HELLO VJ'ERS
I AM ASKING IF I AM ABLE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE AGENT AFTER I COMPLETE THE DS-261?
-
So we called the NVC yesterday and got the invoice ID, paid the AOS fee last night, waiting to pay the IV fee now. They received my case on the 21st of July. The NVC agent said that everytime they get docs from us it will take them 30 days to review it. Ensure that everything is correct the first time you sent them in to avoid any unnecessary delays

In our case, I am temporarily in Canada and I used my Canadian address as my present address when my filed and now I have my case number it's saying MTL**********. I didn't even choose to be interviewed in Montreal as I'm nor eligible. Now I have to b correcting it. The agent says I can still go ahead and choose my agent but it says" follow the instructions sent to you by NVC". How do we proceeds? We haven't gotten the actual package yet

Another NVC month

@BHSmama
Bob Marley says "Jah Jah will never let us down". So pan di riva pan di bank. Pot cova tonight. You're so much a blessing on this thread. Mama you closed the thread. May God bless and keep you all. May He favor us through the various embassies. That's the last hurdle on this journey we must leap over
-
So NVC messed up! We told them on the I130 form that I need to be interviewed in Jamaica as I'm not eligible for to be interviewed in Montreal. This morning I called and got my case number and it was for Montreal. So I'll have to email them proof that I'm Jamaican and wait again for a case number to be reassigned. If I'm upset anymore...... Heaven will come down

Thank you for your birthday wishes. I'm out getting facial, handcial and footcial. That's all I need today
-
Praise God for another year. I'm one year older today and I thank Him for His blessings and favors towards me.
@BHSMama
I'm watching you because I will be celebrating with you Jamaican style with pot covers and "pan di river pan di bank" dance. You deserve it. You encourage everyone here and never got dismayed when other's approvals came before you. Your approval is already done
-
I called the NVC this morning and they didn't assign me a case number yet. They received our approved petition since the 21st July. Today's my birthday I should get my case number after all
-
@VJ experts,
Does the IV bill come in the welcome package? I realize that on members' timelines, the AOS bill comes in welcome package from NVC. Where does the IV bill come from? Is it that it's in the NVC portal? Please advise. Thanks
-
@Mbalih
I feel your joy. I was the one who started the July approvals in the 1st of July.... And it's my birth month. I told God that He favored me so He has to bless all of you. In June this February thread was so dead, but the favor of God put life in it. May God bring us through the storm of NVC and and the embassies. Congrats my friend because God can't fail, even if He tries to

So I called the NVC and they told me that my case just got scanned into the system yesterday and we'll have to wait s month before we're able to hear from them, regarding the instructions. Our case was sent to them on the 13/07. I am so upset about that whole month to hear from them. We have other things in life to think about other than immigration. Smh!

Don't be frustrated by the 2014 processing date... It could be one application they're working on from that time. NSChas been consistent with between 4 1/2 to 6 months processing times. I was frightened to see us getting an approval in 4 1/2 months

On our 1040 forms, there's a watermark image in the background "DO NOT FILE". Will this be acceptable at the NVC, for those who might have experienced the same thing?
-
@spock
Thanks very much. Gonna have it printed now though. So we will submit what we have
-
Help! Can we use the 1040 form without the W2? Wifey says she only has the 1040 forms and they have more info than the W2. Will this be an issue?

Hey there
USCIS sent us the email that our case has been forwarded to the state department for visa processing. How long after the case is sent should we receive the letter from the NVC? Thanks

@Brentos
I mistakenly left it in it and deleted it from the top. I don't know if someone/moderator could have it removed for me
Thanks for the insight Brentos

Well my wife's employing letter didn't say what her position is. It only included when she started working and that she's full time and her hourly rate. Is the position really important in the letter to NVC? Will we end up with a checklist for this?
