  1. You , being petitioner, need to fill form i 864. You need to enter only your income( not your husband) as reported in tax return. Since you do not meet financial requirements, you need joint sponsor. Joint sponsor also needs to fill i 864 in the capacity of joint sponsor. Your husband doesn't need to fill any form.

since each of your parent has separate petition you and the joint sponsor both are required to fill i 864 forms for each of them separately. One person can be joint sponsor for both of them if he has sufficient income. otherwise arrange two joint sponsors ie one for each parent.

  2. You can send prepare two separate packets ie one for your mom and one for dad. Each packet containing all the documents , financial as well as civil with covering sheet( having case# and name) on the top. Put both packets in one large envelope and mail. Dont forget to write case# on each page.

For Joint sponsor, he/she can be any one who is above 18 and Us Citizen/ Permanent Resident and meets financial requirements.

  3. As long as your mother maintains her permanent residency, there shouldn't be any problem. my father entered as IR5 , applied for my little brother(7 year old) and left after staying in US for 12 days. came back again after 6 months and applied for re entry permit. he will stay only for two months for his biometrics. he will be back in US along with my brother, hopefully after a year when my brothers is through his immigration process.

  4. Its too late. get an infopass appointment at the nearest USCIS centre. They might be able to tell the status of your card.

Both of my parents cards were sent after three weeks. Both the cards could not be delivered and were returned to uscis by the post office due to incomplete address. They contacted uscis to re send the cards. it took 2 months in my mothers case and 5 months in my fathers case till the delivery at correct address. During this period we made several requests to uscis through calls and messages to resend cards.

  5. You can also call USCIS and talk to tier 2 officer. I 90 would cost you money as you will have to pay the fees. If your card is not sent to you yet or it has been returned back to USCIS, it will be delivered to you without cost. Don't rush to apply for replacement. Stamp on your passport at the time of entry is good enough as it serves as temporary green card for one year from date of entry. For now you just need to take up the matter with USCIS. If calling them doesn't serve the purpose, get the info pass appointment and visit the nearest USCIS centre.

  6. Yes i agree to both.. I'm always browsing on forums and read about their stories. I've seen that most people who already have thir visa approved. I feel happy for them but sorry for myself and my kids. I think i will do that, call nvc ask for somebody on the higher postiiton. I hope there will be good news the next time i call. Thank you!

it is already delayed enough. applicants with PD sep. 2014 have already been scheduled for interview. you should call NVC and talk to tier 2 officer.
