do you think meeting the 125% poverty level in i864 wont be enough? or they will be asking for more like health insurance?
I don't think health insurance shall be asked. My brother has a disability (Autism) and we were asked to provide diagnosis at the time of his medical, which we did. No insurance was asked at the time of interview and his visa was approved.

Thank you for that response. this is the better one so far. I did tell my MIL to at least start the process but she won't listen, she says it is too much money for her to pay for, even though I have offered but she will not take it. I didn't know about the re-entry process can be total of 4 years but will look into that. I am aware of my SIL2 not being valid for immigration once she is married, which is fine because then she can easily live with her family there.
which begs two question if you can answer: 1) can my MIL apply while in Pakistan? 2) can we start 2 process at the same time?
Its better if she applies from US, though it is by mail and can be done from Pakistan. You can submit two petitions simultaneously.
-
Your MIL should have filed i 130 for your SIL by now so that your SIL should at least have gotten in waiting line for immigrant visa. Two things you are missing in all the conversation are: a- Your MIL can get reentry permit twice ie for a period of total 4 years which is more than enough to stay in Pakistan and search/find a match for your SIL.. b- if your SIL gets married i 130 will become invalid as she wont be eligible for F2 b category. So your husband or your SIL1 should also apply for her simultaneously in F4 category, so that if she gets married she is able to migrate along with her spouse/family.

Sorry, I quoted your reply by mistake. In fact I had to quote the following post.

damm bro ur lucky... when was her interview.. where at and where to?
Pakistan is not one of the countries where direct filing is possible. How come your i 130 was approved by US embassy in Pakistan? Its USCIS which processes i 130, not the embassies or State Department. Never heard of what you said.

My husband start filing for me and our two daughters age 7 and 1, he's a green card holder, he started on 01/08 /2015 I got my case number 25/10/2016 what can I expect next or how long will it take
Current priority date for F2a is November 2015. You should have received interview letter long ago. You need to call NVC to check what is going on. My little brother has already gotten his visa two months ago under this category with priority date of September 2015.
-
It means they are processing his case. Hopefully he will be issued visa in couple of days if they do not put him under the second kind of Admn processing which usually most of Pakistani males have to undergo and it takes longer.
-
It is not unusual if the status shows "ready". when we were asked to provide some additional documents at the time of interview, our case remained stuck up at ready for about 5 week, after provision of documents, despite it was touched many times during this period. Then it changed to Admn. processing and after 2 or 3 days changed to " issued". They wont reply your emails unless a period of 2 months is passed. Keep checking status updates, if the documents are complete and fulfill the requirement it will hopefully be issued soon.

Hi everyone, as earlier in told about my mom's denied n-400. So I want to know when she will eligible again to apply she came back in June 2014 when she left for 11 months so we will continue time counting from that year for 4 years and 1 day rule. But again she left after for less then 6 months then she came back in 2016 February, so we will count from 2016 for 4 years and 1 day rule? And she applied for N-400 in October 2016.
To qualify for naturalization, under IN 316, an applicant must:
Be physically present in the United states for at least 2 and half years at the time of filling format N-400.
So when she applied N-400 in Oct 2016, was she eligible for physically present? Should we count from June 2014 or February 2016? If I she has proof for that disturbed continuity of residence and want to apply for N-336 but still after that didn't she required to complete 2 and half years rule at the time of filling n- 400. She will include or exclude that time less than 6 months. So will she count from June 2014? Or February 2016?
Thanks you all so much understanding my situation.
Just read the instructions of USCIS about filing for naturalization, it has clearly been explained there. As far as I understand you need to count from the date when she returned after a long stay ie more than six months. Less than six months doesnt matter as it does not break the continuity.

General questions about petitioner/sponsor and the child.

General questions, depending on the age of child, can be asked like his name , father's name etc etc. The person accompanying him (mother or father) shall however be interviewed.

NO whole process takes 6 to 9 months
UScis 3 months
NVC 11 weeks
nvc will email u to send further docs that will take 11 weeks . Make sure u send all docs correctly if any docs missing they will take more time. If your all docs r correct and completed they will forword your case to ISb embassy they will schedule your parents interview. You will be recieving emails also u can check your status on ceac website when they forword your case to NVC.
No way. Its taking way longer than 9 months. Check the immigration time lines here and you will find that people didn't even get approval notice from USCIS alone in 9 months what to talk about the whole process . http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=&op3=20&op5=&op6=All
NVC also takes around six months if every thing goes smooth. Now a days its taking between 13 months to 20 months for the whole process.

Thankyou Saima. So I should expect 6-9 months for NVC after approval.
How much time does it take to get approval after I get reciept??
After approval of i 130, it will be sent to NVC for further process. NVC will take about a month or so to assign you case number and then send your parents welcome letter and a copy to you by mail. They will also guide you for further process which includes payment of fees and submission of on line immigrant visa application and what financial and civil document you need to submit to NVC. Once they receive the documents, they will take about 3 months to review those documents and if find them complete in all respect they shall inform you that your case is complete and give give your parents an interview date. You can check the processing times of the service center of USCIS where your i 130 is under process. It will give you an idea how long USCIS will take. Depending on the center approval may take some where between seven to ten months if you do not get a request for further evidence otherwise it may take longer. Once its approved and you are prompt to complete the process required by NVC, it may take around six months. But if they need more documents it may take longer. Roughly it may take from a year to year and a half for the whole process.

Miami Boy, Thanks for your reply.
actualy, My wife never applied for any US visa or never been to US before. honestly, i dont know the reason for the AR.
what might be the other reasons for the AR? do you guys know anyone who gone through this AR process ? if yes, approximately how long it will take ?
Please advice me. Thank You.
This is usually security vetting through US agencies. It usually resolves within two months if they find nothing but if her name matches with some suspect then it may take long. You can google.

I called the pakistan embassy they told me they knew nothing, we can't call the consular office , they don't take calls or visit
They wont inform you over telephone as the person over telephone has no knowledge about that. What you need to do is send an online inquiry. Visit this and send your question.
-
They are supposed to give you the reason for refusal. contact the embassy and ask.

Thank you so much. One more thing, can I or do I pay the visa fee before I submit the missing document (as getting the document might take little time) or I cannot pay it until I submit it?
Thank you
You only pay immigrant fee when you get the visa before or after entering US.

Hello everyone, my husband have GC and applied for me in January 2017 visa category F2A.Can anybody guide who have more experience than me, that when we will get approval and when my case will be complete? As per my knowledge current PD is 23 August2016 so i have to wait for 5 more month for approval?
Current PD is Oct 1, 2015. Maybe you are talking about processing time of i 130, Keep in mind that after approval of i 130 you have to wait for you PD to be current for interview at the embassy. Currently they are interviewing those with PD Sep. 2015. So its almost two years wait now but it may change in coming period. It can take more or less.
-
No.its not more than six months, it will be six months on 6th of September. No one can predict when it will be approved. Check the processing times of TSC here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcvNqRWiJNVmg0z-673v. they are still processing Nov. 2016. Your petition is therefore within processing times.
