my fiancee sent the package to the uscis and they recieve it on December 31,2014
the NOA-1 was on January 05,2015
are we December 2014 filers or january 2015 filers
-
This is wonderful news!!
Lets just see what's gonna happen
-
You are right on the edge. USCIS lists your Receive Date, your NOA-1 date is typically a couple days later and found on the paper copy. My receive is Dec 26th, my NOA-1 Dec 29th.
My NOA-1 january 05, 2015
so i'm january 2015 filler

Hello everyone
On December 31, 2014, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by January 30, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 FREE.
Is that mean i'm a december filler ?

So sorry you guys have to wait can your fiance(e) visit you in the meantime?? That's probably your best option. Again you could still try- but I think it's just not likely since you're already applying for the k1. Have you already gotten one before? If you have it's worth a shot since I've seen other people who had tourist visa before be able to get one while waiting on the K-1. If not it's probably just better to wait.
Good luck to you guys!
we have already discuss that so many times
she's so busy even if she come to my country she'll be able just to stay 10 days
and everybody here knows its not enough, nothing we can do then except waiting
Good luck to you guys!!!!!

I think applying for another visa isn't recommended, since you already have shown your intent to migrate to the US. You're already applying for one visa anyway, so by the time you'd get your tourist visa (which can take a while and is difficult to obtain), depending on your country, it could become invalid to travel on because of your fiancé visa. From what I've heard, it's unlikely that you'll obtain one, so you could waste money applying. You could always try, though. Not sure there's a rule against it per say. Personally I'd say don't waste your time unless you've obtained a tourist visa in the past. It's already difficult to get tourist visas, but I would doubt you'd get one when you applied for another.
thanks i'm goona wait then

hello everyone
i think the TSC doing q good job so far
they work on august fillers and some september fillers
hope they keep doing like that
-
Look guys can some body explain this ??? i took it just right now.
if the processing time is true i think the TSC start back working on cases again and they do i great job
-
Congratulations! You are living proof! Yes, we all must understand that there are more people not on this website applying for a K-1 then us on here. We honestly probably only make up for about 5% of all K-1 filers across the U.S. The statistics on here are simply a rough estimate. Very rough. We could never use the statistics in here to conduct an immigration study whatsoever.
I have a PhD in engineering and I can tell you that my academic colleagues would never use data from forums. I do hope that this response will ease some people's minds. Just relax, enjoy the ride, and the NOA2 will be in your mailbox before you know it!
thank u for the beautiful reply!
hope we all get approved
-
I don't know why most of filipino got their NOA2 so quick than the others !!!!!!!!!!
-
This is the best reply here.. I was lucky to get approved at TSC last Friday with only a 74 day wait from NOA-1 in November 2014 to NOA-2 in Feburary 2015. for a CR-1
Congratulations!!!
-
That's really stressful
-
hey guys
Can some body tell why the processing speed is getting slower at TSC ???
-
VJ's estimate was off by several months in my case (which took longer).
So give or take couple of months on either side.
And yes, this will be one of the unintended tests of your relationship,
so take care of all filing documents with absolute 200% accuracy,
and have patience. This is more like a marathon rather than a sprint.
thank all of you for your supports guys

-
You will likely find that this whole immigration journey is an exercise in patience.
Good luck on your immigration journey.
yeah i guess that
thank u!
i think the Texas Service is too slow!
-
so its gonna be between 7 and 8 month
thats really long time

hello every one i m new here in this website
i have just a question about the processing estimate
on my timeline it mentioned that the i 129f may be adjudicated between july 11,2015
and and August 2,2015
its that mean the whole procedure until the visa or just the NOA2
and thank u for your answers
USCIS is transferring some cases to balance workload
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
