Thank you guys Even that my USCIS journey is over I'm not leaving VJ! I still hope that I can help some of poor souls who are still waiting and having bunch of questions about this.

Finally...on Friday, May 30. I had my Oath Ceremony in Jefferson City, MO. Everything went very well and quick. There was 39 people from 22 different countries. After ceremony I was able to register as a voter and apply for US passport.
I'm glad my USCIS journey is over, it took me a little less then 6 years from the begining....and 11 months N-400 itself .
I wish to all who are still waiting....just hang on....you will get there..I know waiting is hard...but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

-
That was really fast.
I know that they send passport in one mail and certificates in other....at least that happened with passports for my kids. Their birth certificates came few days later in separate envelope.

Jane Doe,
First I wanted to scan back page of N-445 with those questions and of course, when you need something its not working
So I found a pdf file for you, so you can see how N-445 (Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony) looks like.

I will not be going through the same local office as you for my N-400, but I did submit my application to Nebraska SC. I am always amazed how long my applications take, compared to others dealing with the same SC and/or local offices. I have nothing out of the usual in my case, but they always seem to take longer to approve than most peoples.
Congrats on passing the interview. Hopefully, you'll hear something soon about when your oath ceremony will be.
Were your questions for the civics test hard?
Best wishes.
Here is my interview expirience: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry1480197
For a list of questions I got at the interview scroll down a little Good luck at your interview!

I had my interview on Jan 10th 2008 and now I'm still waiting for my oath ceremony.
I would like to hear from other people who are going through Distric Office in Kansas City,MO with their N-400 deal. Please post your exirience even if your done with naturalization....
Thanks!
Lexa, call the federal court in your area to find out when they will be performing the next oath ceremony. Knowing when they do that, might give you an idea as to your timeframe. Also, I would call the hotline to speak to an IO...they might know something, too.
Good Luck!!!
Somebody posted this info at different forum...about oath ceremonies at KC Court house: "They schedule one oath ceremony every month, typically on the last Friday of each month although the exact date sometimes varies. Upcoming dates are: April 25th, May 30th, June 27th, July 25th, August 29th."
I think I will really need to go through all that hassle and call them...hopeing I can get any information that way.

Can anyone that has been through an interview already describe the procedure, what they are going to ask?
And also, do you have to study the oath by heart?

I got my US Passport today. I had my oath ceremony on Friday, May 30th and I applied for passport, today is June 7th. So it took a week to get it? How fast is that? And I didn't use expedite services!
