    Just try the philippineairlines.com website. Or just try to inquire to any travel agency in the mall particularly in SM mall.

    I have posted a topic about this before but haven't yielded the results I was hoping for.

    I purchased a one-way ticket for my filipina fiance from Vayama.com. It says all taxes are included in the ticket price.

    However, there are several posters who keep mentioning that filipinos leaving the country must pay P1620 at the airport or a ticket agent...

    My question is--does this apply to MY situation when I was the one who purchased her one-way ticket from Vayama?

    If anyone has had a similar experience to this and can answer my question, I would appreciate it. Money IS a critical factor right now in my situation and I can't find any answers about this anywhere.

    Yeah she needs to pay the P1620 it is not included on the ticket. That is the travel tax, i experienced that before my fiance husband now purchased me a ticket through vayama.com also, i asked him if i do need to pay the P1620 for the travel tax he said that i dont need to pay coz its already included it on the ticket, but when i am in the airport checking in the lady told me to pay the travel tax because it is not included on the e-ticket. So i payed P1620 plus 750 terminal fee. Just give her extra money just in case. I flew through NWA last sept 2007.

    Yeah, if there's one thing I've learned from this entire fiance visa process it's that there is NO room for taking gambles with money.

    I can't believe it's finally over! Whew! She's coming on the 18th and I'm ecstatic! :)

    i live here at NY, i just got here july 2007 i feel what you feel its really hard to find friends, untill now i just have few friends which is also busy in their own life, i really miss my life at P.I, im also looking for a friend maybe i can make friends also to anyone here...

    Hello we feel the same way too...More pinay here changed they think na kalevel na rin nila mga puti dito, i experienced here merun ako nakita pinay sa grocery sinundan ko pa sya pero di naman nya ko pinansin so now ok na skin kahit walang filipino friends. i met one pala sa world of filipina nagkita na kami in person and we exchanged phone number so kapag bored and merun prob tawagan kami. My husband pala from colorado spring , maybe one of these days punta kami dyan visit sa family nya...Goodluck sayo and mararamdaman mo naman kapag merun ka nameet na pinay kung ok ba sya o hindi...I heard marami pinay sa colorado spring...Happy new year!

    Hello guys! I really need your help...Do you know any shipping company here in united states going to the philippines. My friend want to shift all thier household stuff to the philippines they are from texas they cant find any shipping or frieght company there. They wanted it door to door and must be the shipping company will pack all thier stuff.

    Is there anyone of you experience this before? I need your input...

    I believe you were mislead. You should be able to apply for an SSN during the validity of the I-94. Go back to the office or try another one.

    Yeah you are right she is eligible to apply for SSN, i was denied too when i first applied my SSN at albuquerque because they dont have knowledged i think about K1 visa's. But we tried again to other local SSN office and they give me a letter stating that they are going to verify first my record at the USCIS and it will take 2- 4 weeks to processed. I got mine 15 days on the mail with my married name. But you cant use it for work until you have DHS authorization...

    You have to bring:

    Authenticated Marriage Certificate

    Passport

    I-94

    December AOS filers

    We sent ours Dec 01

    We tried to checked online the status of my AOS but we dont know where is the reciept number on the cheque.

    It should start with three letters and then have 10 numbers after it.

    We already entered all the number on the back of the cheque but still nothing

    Yeah, it seems that cases are taking a while to be entered into their computer system. And the receipt numbers you receive with your NOA1s will likely be different from the one on the check, anyone. I don't know if you would be able to look up your case with that number anyway.

    Does anyone know if the receipt number on the check is attached to the case on the status page? Or was before the (recent) backlog?

    My friend also december filer she recieved her NOA1 and we tried to check the case online it shows there case and the case number is also the same on her cheque that they cashed. So i am wondering why i cant check my status online, maybe they have lots of backlog they cashed only the cheque but they never look up on the application...So disgusting! :wacko:

    Should 1010$ fee for AOS included the EAD or should we pay additional for EAD?(i wanted to apply for EAD while waiting for the AOS approval)

    $1010.00 includes AOS, Biometrics, EAD & AP.

    Hi girls, I just wanted to know if out there somebody has found something very common to me (maybe it's depending on the part of USA where you live) but after 1 year living in US I haven't met yet someone to be called girlfriend to me. And this kind of stuff has been stressing me alot..........because when I don't work or my hubby works and I'm alone, it bugs ALOT.

    I live in Hawaii where people are very hostile, and to meet & make new friends is like winning the lotto.

    I just wanted to know if someone out there has something in common with me.

    I just would like to also point out that I'm a nice person & very open to make new friends, so I really believe that it is not my fault, actually I have noticed that the only one thing that girls are interested in here is eating like animals, and having as many kids as much as they can ..........so it's really sucks to me, since I don't have anything in common in that. I would love to talk, exchange converrsation.........nothing at all, everything is concentrated in food & kids..........welll, I guess that everybody is different, so everybody can have their own though and behave.........

    Here looks like that if you are not from here, they don't really care about you.......toatally different to the mainland, if you wanna come to Hawaii come just as a tourist, sorry but that's how it is...........don't come to live.

    I would like to share your exeperience about new friendship made during yiur first year in USA.

    We feel the same way i dont have any friends since i moved here in US ( we are now in sandy utah) but ive here for almost 2 months now i dont know anyone here except my husband. I am also by myself if is atwork...its hard but this is part of adjustment and soon we will be fine and maybe we could meet some friends too...

    Let me ask you something, though--since I'm in America and purchasing HER one-way ticket for her to fly here, will there be any special requirements?

    Someone on this forum a few weeks ago told me that if the American purchases his fiance's ticket online then that fiance flying from Philippines to America is required to show the credit card used to purchase the ticket at the airports. Is this true or not for this particular website you referred me to?

    If that's true, I can't do it. :/

    No special requirements...my husband buy me a ticket online and he send the confirmation to my email...i dont experienced any problems with e-ticket.

    Its not true to show any credit card...

    She must bring the etenirary to check in if she cant print the boarding pass

    Thanks! I'll try Northwest. :) They never let me down when *I* flew to my fiance's country so I'm sure she will be in good hands flying to my country. :)

    Goodluck but remember she is paying on the airport departure tax 36$ (she can pay in peso also) if i am not mistaken and terminal fee 750. Because the travel tax is not included on the ticket...

    Welcome to Utah, Sandy is pretty cool compare to the surounding areas, not as dead as some of the other places. I am glad you guys found an apartment and start to settling in.
