  1. Now that I received notice that they scheduled my interview, my worries started again.

My situation is, I stayed in the Philippines for 10 months year 2017,coz my husband got disabled and I got short term disability from my work due to pregnancy complications..

Can't afford the rent here, and expenses, that's why we decided to stay in the Philippines to give birth, and my husband filed ss disability while we were there.

We came back here when my son was 3 months old. And can't able to work yet. So I quit my work when we gets back.

I'm worried that they will deny my application. :(

Also, we decided to continue the petition of 2 kids in the Philippines and they finally got here in March 2018.

I've read that if u have proof that u didn't intent to stay out of country for good, you'll be fine..

When we came back here, I was still employed, but I've quit the following month.

I hope they will consider my reason.🤞

    Thank you!

Update: My interview date is July 15th.

    Congrats! :)

I got notification from Case Tracker app earlier.. it says they scheduled my interview today, but when I logged in to their site, nothing changed. It still shows "we transferred your application to other uscis"..

Is the Case tracker app accurate?

    🤞 I hope it is. 🤞

I filed on April 23 2018 and I am also yet to be scheduled for an interview. It seems to me that the 16 month time for completion listed on the USCIS website is the more accurate estimate.

That's too bad. :( I was hoping to get interview schedule by next month but looks like it won't happen yet. 😕

    filed May 2,2018.

Completion date was June 2019 now it says September 2019.

Any idea which is the latest case being processed?

Also has anybody called to ask if it's true that everything got pushed two months later?

The website says that it's taking 16 to 21 months to process N400.

Adding these 2 extra months makes it to 16 months.

My gosh...we'd better be focused on something else. It's totally nerve wrecking. :(

When did u filed? Waiting on my interview schedule too..

    I file May 2,2018..

I'm hoping to hear from them by next month.🤞

I got my US Citizenship on Wednesday!

I wanted to share my experience here since I can definitely understand all the frustration that's going around here on this forum but hopefully this *can* brighten up everyone's Friday. I did not do a 751/400 combo. Also, enjoy the beautiful weather that we're having in Seattle/PNW!

I filed my N-400 Feb 2018 so right on target with the 14 month wait for the Seattle office. I had my N-400 interview on May 2 @ 7:15 AM. The officer was very direct and to the point, but courteous and professional. It's clear that he had been doing his job for quite a while. He asked me to raise my right hand to tell the truth, to read and write a sentence on the iPad, to answer the 6 civics questions. After these steps, he got into my application to confirm some details and to answer all the Yes/No questions again. He kept on looking at his computer while asking me questions presumably to confirm my responses. After a long silence (which seemed like forever), he handed me a paper and said that I passed my test and that my application was approved! All in all the interview took less than 15 mins.

He asked me what I was doing at 1:30 and if I could take the oath on the same day. I said yes of course! So in Seattle at least, same day oaths are really a thing. The oath ceremony was small compared to others that I've heard of. There were only 80+ of us from 35+ different countries. It took longer for everyone to get checked in and seated vs. the actual oath/ceremony. They did hand out certificates one by one as they read each person's name which was nice.

    Congratulations!!!🎉

I can't wait to be done as well.. 😁

    What exact date u filed?

And do u know the exact date when u received a status regarding interview schedule?

I'm going to start tracking mine since it's already 1 year since filing..

May 2,2018 is my filing date..hope to hear from them soon. 😊
