Your visa is not approved yet, your petition was approved, though. Now it is going to go to the National Visa Center and it can take up to 35 days. You should call them and obtain your case number, it is likely already there. They will send you an invoice to pay for the visa application. Then you'll have to do an online visa application, and submit some documents (they will give you instructions). Then they will send your case off to your local embassy, then the embassy will send you some packages that need to be completed and more forms, and assign you an interview date. All the embassies are different how they do it so you'll just need to look into it.

My NOA2 was November 14th and NVC did not receive it yet. I called and they said it can take up to 35 days. But it seems like the average is 2-3 weeks. Also I did not receive my hard copy NOA2 yet, did you?

I have no idea about the question, but, being a US citizen I know that there is a lack of health care workers and so it probably actually benefits you. Not sure though.
Not all passports have passport book numbers. You should put the passport number, and if there is no passport book number you should put not applicable.

Why don't you just call USCIS yourself to see what is going on?

I would first of all see if you can attend the interview with him. Some embassies allow it.
Is the 221 indicating that the consulate staff think it is a fraudulent case? If so, that is going to be really hard. Just telling you what I have learned from my research. My fiance was denied a student visa twice so I looked into previous denials somewhat.
Lastly, I would just say practice. There are a lot of websites and YouTube videos with potential questions they could ask, and he has to know the details about your life. Your school is kind of a big part of your life, so your fiance should know that information.
If it is denied again, you can always just get married in your fiance's country then file the I130.
Good luck!

I did not notarize my petition. I did not see anything about this requirement. I was approved.

I wrote one letter of intent, using "we" and stating both our names. I sent it to him to sign electronically. He printed, signed it, scanned it, and sent it back. Then I printed it and signed it. This worked for me. I didn't see anything about both needing to be originals, that would be impossible to mail a letter from Libya to the US right now.
The date, I set one date on all paper work whether I actually signed it on that date or not. I think I sent it about a week after the date I had on all the paperwork.

Why does The Philippines process at an extremely faster rate than all other countries?

Mine was doing that for a few days because of the new system, so I thought, then poof! It magically started working and my petition was approved. Maybe that will happen to you too!!!

You have to meet one of the requirements. If you do not have funds in the bank, you'll need a co-sponsor.

I am not positive as my case is still on its way to the NVC. But from my research, what I understand is that for countries where the mail systems are not great, and also depending on the embassy, packets can either be delivered by mail or e-mail. I have read that some couples only receive by e-mail, and I think I only read so far that the petitioner received the e-mails. I imagine this will be the case for me also since my fiance is in Libya, but has to go to either Tunisia or Morocco. Deliver a package 3 in Libya? Riiiiight....

Are you a Muslim man? It is against Islam for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man. This could cause a lot of problems for her with her family if you are not Muslim.....If you are not, well hey I am a non-Muslim woman marrying a Muslim man, and so trust me I understand that love is love, why do there have to exist such barriers?

I want to start this topic to discuss any setbacks, problems, or difficulties for those of us with fiances in the Middle East.
My fiance is in Libya.....
The US Embassy in Libya is closed until further notice. Libyan nationals are required to travel to Morocco for the embassy requirements, unless we can get another embassy to take the case. For a Libyan this is difficult because Libyans can't enter Morocco without obtaining an additional visa from Morocco. My fiance wants to go to Tunisia because it is much more convenient.
So, my point here is that I imagine that others are also having additional problems they have to deal with besides the regular process of the K1, if your fiance is in a Middle Eastern country, they face more scrutiny and additional challenges in this process.
After 3 expedite requests, finally USCIS approved the petition. Now we are waiting for it to go to NVC. I called them and they told me that I could send NVC a legal document showing my fiance has permission to be present in Tunisia and that they will send it there for us, otherwise we will have to get approval directly from that embassy to take our case.
Another issue....there is no mail in Libya!!! There will be no receiving of packets or letters in Libya, what is going to happen?
Has anybody had any similar visa journeys with fiances in the Middle East for this process they can share?

Not for pregnancy, but if you can prove financial hardship, then it could potentially be expedited.
