    Hello guys,

I could not post last week, but I just want to say thank you all for your help!

It was my turn now, after the long waiting (one year and six months) finally I got great news and I received my new card on Saturday!!

Those who are still waiting and were transferred to a new office, you will receive good news soon!!

    Congrats to you!

and yes i’m really hoping to receive good news soon about my I751 and N400 applications :)

  5. I called USCIS twice, last night and this morning, i spoke with tier 2 and i got the same information. They said National benefits center handles all application for N400 and they prepair the application for interview. Therefore since i applied for both I751 and N400. My application for I751 was transferred to NBC and i do have a chance to get a combo interview they said. Also my local field office is in milwaukee, my N400 is in queue for interview they said once they have available slots they will go ahead and schedule my interview. I hope this is true and i’m hoping for speed process.

Yes it diffenatly faster when you apply for citizenship with I751 still pending. Seems like it's could safe us up to 12 months of waiting time☺

Ugh my application for I751 was submitted in july of 2017. Havent heard anything until dec 21 when they told me they finished with the preliminary review of the application and was transffered to nbc. I dont know what kind of preliminary review that is. But i’m hoping for positive news soon.

It's coming!) How I know? I had read a lot of forums and people's experiences. USCIS sending unfinished I751 to NBC only in case if you already applied for citizenship, and then they sending it to local office for interview. How fast? It's depends how busy your local office. Good luck!

That’s good to know! I’m really hoping for speed process and approval. Good luck to us :)

Thank you.. I hope my status will finally change online.

I wish you a lot of luck and a speedy process. The timeframe for the N400 depends on where you live, but it’s definitely faster than it appears on the website (when I submitted it, I had a timeframe of 20months - may 2020).

Oh really? Mine says the same thing feb 2020 estimated completion.

On dec 21 i received a letter saying that they are done with the preliminary review of my application and that it was transferred to National benefits center. I am CSC filers. I dont know what NBC do. I’m really hoping to get my I751 and N400 be approved before my 18months extension letter expires.

I hope to get some help here.. I applied for ROC 9/2017 (pending) and N-400 9/2018 (interview 1/7/2019, submitted for approval by the agent). Since my N-400 interview, only the status of my I751 changed to “Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction”. No update on my N400. Is this normal a week after the N400 interview?

about the combo pending I751 and N400 application, the agent told me that she reviewed my case (she had everything since the K1 visa) and it was good enough proof to not need my husband to be there. If my file was smaller or not as strong, he’d have needed to come to my N400 interview (it was early and he was in bed). The agent also explained me that due to the double application, if i’m approved (which i was), my I751 will be approved but I won’t get a 10year GC because my N400 would also be approved and I’d be scheduled for naturalization (and there’s pretty much no need for the 10year GC). During the N400, the agent will have every single document you ever sent, make sure to send enough and if you want, you can ask your US spouze to come with you). I hope this helps someone..

    Congrats to you!

i applied N400 in august of 2018 but still pending. I did biometrics in sept 2018 and i haven’t heard anything since then.

i’m hoping to hear good news regarding both my I751 and N400 soon.

    Congrats again!

    Hi!

As we figure it out here, Missouri office is actually NBC, that means they are almost ready to schedule our I751+N400 interviews. It's already happened for some people, who's local offices is not so busy :) I still waiting for invitation, Denver is not fast one. On-line status is not most reliable source of information, some people is done with immigration process already, but their status is still like "we accept your biometrics":))

I was wondering how did you know they are almost ready to schedule our I751 and N400 interviews? I’m really hoping to hear good news from NBC soon.

How do i got about checking DHS website for application status?

Same situation as mine. Filed the same day, and I-751 application got transfered to NBC. N-400 still pending. I’m hoping to hear good news soon.

  13. I applied july of 2017 for my I-751 and August 2018 for N-400,

MAY of 2017 i recieved NOA1 saying they received my application for I-751 and that they will use the same biometrics they have on file therefore no biometrics appointment needed. Then Dec. of 2018 i got letter saying they transfer my I-751 application to National benefits center who now has the jurisdiction of my application.

As for N-400 i did my biometrics in sept 2018 and didnt hear anything since then.

congrats to all of you who got their approval already. I’m hoping to my I-751 application will get approved soon. My 18months extension will expire in 2 months. So i’m hoping for good news.

Hi All, CSC filer WAC17258  I-751 finally approved yesterday! My case was transferred to local field office (Milwaukee, WI) following my N-400 interview. It was not a combo interview as such, but the IO commented that the I-751 was still pending and so she could not fully complete the N-400 process, but that she would have the case transferred to her jurisdiction and approve it before finalizing the N-400. It took about a week total between the N-400 interview and receiving notification that the I-751 case was transferred and then approved.

The IO did say she would probably 'cancel' the 10-yr GC production since the Naturalization oath ceremony would likely be scheduled before then and I wouldn't need it. I still have my expired 2-yr conditional GC.

Yay! Congrats! I applied my I-751 in july 2017, and they told me they can use biometrics i have on file, then dec 22, my case was transferred to national benefits center, i dont know what it means, i’m hoping it’s a good thing. As for my N-400 i did my biometrics in milwaukee in sept 2018. I’m still waiting for my application to get approved my 18months extension will expire in april. I hope to get my 10yr green card before my extension expires. Congrats to you!

  16. Hello everyone,

any updates with july filers? I sent my application july 11,2017, couple months letter they told me they can use the same biometrics i have in their system alao they sent me extension letter, then december 20,2018 i received a letter saying that they already did premilinary reviewed/processed f my application and that my application was transferred to national benefits center. I dont what NBC means and how long it takes to process my I-751. Hope it’ll be quick. I’m also worried with all this trump policy because when i first got here i used medicaid when i was pregnant but cancelled it as soon as i gave birth but my us born son used it for 2 years. I work as registered nurse now. I hope it wont be an issue.

    hoping for good news soon.

  17. Hello everyone,

has any of you here have or had used medicaid insurance before while waiting for greencard to get approved? I used medicaid before when i was pregnant when i first got here, 2015, as soon as i gave birth i cancelled it. I dont have medicaid anymore and i work as registered nurse now. but with this trump administration policy i’m worried that it might delay my application process to remove conditional status. I hope it won’t be cause any problem.
